Why hasn't there been a season 2 of....

Jurassic Park and Back to the Future ? I'd like to see another Back to the Future game and a Tell Tale Jurassic World game. I hated the QTE and puzzle parts in Jurassic Park, yet the characters, enviroments and the story were just incredibly well made. I actually cared about every character except for Dr. Sorkin, yet she was important to the story and so it was important for me to try to convince her to leave the island. Back to the Future was an all around incredible game that deserves a sequel.

Both need to have the modern Tell Tale game play and graphics. It seems that they were forgotten after the success of Walking Dead.

That's not a good enough answer to me and many others though. Especially considering how successful Back to the Future was.

I know Jurassic Park got bad reviews, yet if they made a Jurassic World game with gameplay from the current gameplay formula, I'd be happy.

A season 1 of Guardians of the Galaxy ? Come on TT.

  • What answer do you want? That's the only reason. Wouldn't make as much money since it was forgotten.

Jurassic Park and Back to the Future are established brands that hemorrhage money. What are you talking about ? I want TT to get back to basics as they have tons of money now. It would be similar to how R* kept to their formula with GTA.

  • But it can't compete with the success of the walking dead. There is no point financially in renewing them for a sequel.

  • There's no reason for there to be a competition with Walking Dead as that is their game. We are getting all kinds of IPs every year since Walking Dead, yet we can't get a sequel to two games that made TT successful ? I mean was Game of Thrones, Minecraft, and Guardians of the Galaxy more important than two sequels ? I think not.

  • Jurassic Park flopped so that explains that, and there isn't really a reason for there to be another season of Back to the Future.

  • Sadly games such as jurassic park,Sam and max, back to the futute, etc are just forgotten games of the past for telltale after the walking dead was released. Now telltale is focused on future games and sequels of recent games as well.

  • So branching into new, modern series isn't as important as renewing an old forgotten game?

Jurassic Park is still quite popular especially since the recent release of Jurassic World. But telltale neither has the time or ideas to make another one of those earlier games to risk it being a commercial failure and loss of profit if it isn't likely to do well. I personally enjoyed Jurassic Park the game somewhat. Walking Dead was Telltale's best game in their entire existence and looks like they cannot top it. but it was most successful and is likely a bit easier to make a tale out of given the TV show and comics giving the video game series a bit of inspiration ( and yet the game sequels still are struggling mightily). But I think walking dead is just the fad for now. While entertaining there is only so much you can do with walking dead before the synopsis becomes redundant and it goes for every sequel.

Now Everything that has a decent story does not necessarily need a sequel Everytime. Then when it comes out and can't match the original. Folks want to complain about what they asked for. One reason why I felt the Wolf amongst us video game didn't have to have a sequel. It's great in its own right.

  • But just think a sequel of fables possible staring Cinderella( she's like a secret agent in the comics who works for bigby) would be an amazing idea for a season 2.

Yeah but with the release of Jurassic World, we need a TT game for it. The way Back to the future ended showed me that we needed an explanation.

I for one played both of these games and they were head and shoulders above Game of Thrones and Tales from the Borderlands. TT needs to get back to basics and stop stretching thin their resources.

  • Exactly, the people disagreeing with this are probably the same ones that have never played them.
