Season 2 orn an unfinished story?
After finishing the game, I still feel as if the some of the characters had much more potential e.g. Joker and Selina. Joker was just introduced to be there for less than 20 min and the player was supposed to promise or not help for him "outside" (of Arkham Asylum), but rather than an actual end for this meeting we get a teaser in the last chapter, makes me sure that there must be a season 2 soon. Selina follows the same path, she appears far less than Alfred, but I am sure that the vast majority of the community feels more sympathertic to her than Alfred. It would be very epic if there was a choice between saving her or Alfred in the end. All in all the game was great except the character development and the technical issues, but leaving player with a much more important choice rather than to appear on stage as Batman or Wayne is a weak ending, but rather a great begginning for a new episode.

Oh I would certainly not bet on Selina being more valued by the community than Alfred after her rather pathetic display in Ep4 and 5. Alfred is the definition of loyalty, and to me that reigns supreme. Catwoman is very fickle and has shown not to care about Bruce much, she wanted to use him that's all. Bruce should have gone much harder on her after she tried to steal from him. Letting her go is not very Batman.
Yes, Telltale heavily hinted at a season 2 but nothing official thus far and the studio has already quite enough on their plate I'm not holding my breath.
Sadly TTG never fully finish their series.
The only exception was The Walking Dead season 1, and it became a masterpiece.
Borderlands, Back to the future, Monkey Island, Wolf among Us...
They always leave this unsettling "to be continued" feeling - but a real sequel will never happen.
Well there is gonna be a borderlands 3 and I'm sure some tales thing will be touched on
Of course they'll continue it, the release date is rumoured to be about a week after the release of Half Life 3 !
So, within this millenium then. Can't wait !
My idea on that is they make these "to be continued" endings so if the overall reception is good they can go back and revisit it or keep it open till a further date. For years i felt Wolf among us would certainly have a sequel but now i'm not so sure. I feel Wolf among us and Batman certainly have strong potential for future installments. Unfortunately games like Monkey Island and Back to the future are games of Telltale's past most likely to never be revisited. I would definitely like a new Sam&Max season....wishful thinking at least.
