What did they do to Kenny?! :O_O: He looks like Whodunit!
Meanwhile, looks like Jane took a trip back through the uncanny valley because she looks barely more uncanny than she did before. Also, I love how her head looks like it doesn’t belong on her body.
Edith is easily the best looking, which also makes her look worse than Jane due to the Uncanny Valley hitting her somethin fierce.
And Baby AJ is clearly a bad render of his Season 2 model with new eyes implanted.
Kenny, Danny, Marcus, Nate, Carlos, Troy, and Buricko are pretty much stereotypes when stop to look at em. Might as well toss Jane in there too. Though I guess Larry, Doug, Danny, Jolene, Eddie, Michelle, Luke, Carver and Reggie aren't that much better.
Just because it's fun to make fun of them, I'm gonna have little more fun with the flashback models.
Kenny is definitely the worst because the moment the camera panned in front of Clementine towards the left, with AJ visible in the background, and then you gradually see what looks like a melting action figure, I was like "Problem!” The funny thing is it looks like they started on his model early on in development They likely didn't get around to making sure they textured it so that he looks like he belongs in-game: as a result, his proportions are relatively the same but everything else is shit, namely his leaf rubbing beard and an eye-patch in place of the bandage-pad.."
Jane looks even more like something out of Planet of the Apes than she did before, with feathers for hair like the Raptors from Jurassic Park III. Unlike Kenny, she looks like she somewhat belongs in this artstyle but her proportions are pretty bad since her head looks like it doesn’t belong on her body, which is bloated btw. And I love how 5% of that 69 lbs went to her face. Goddamn, when they said it'll go straight to your thighs, they fucking meant it! "That asshole family ran off with half our food," indeed.
Edith is arguably the best looking of the three, as her proportions make her not look like too much of a humanoid abomination and her textures are fine since she actually fits into this universe. However, she looks simultaneously better and worse somehow though that’s probably just the artshift and the darker colors.
And since I’ve already commented on AJ, I’ll instead note that “Young!” Clementine appears to be her 13 year-old head after either being attached to a smaller body or they simply dressed her up to make her look younger.
Okay, time to talk about things I don't really like:
Personally, I hated Becca's Season 2 attire in part because its so similar to Clementine's with very dirty/dark colors, thus I like the original design more for being brighter/cleaner. But when I did that Five Shades of Clementine picture several months ago, I decided that design made the most sense given the other characters are based on that timeline. She was really odd to draw because she is so sleek with a lot of bright colors and I had to try to make sure she shined visually amongst the other characters since she and Jane both have brown hair and comparatively paler skin.
In fact, now that I'm looking at it, it is basically Jane's color scheme--except darker!
With unpleasantness out of the way, I will say that another part of the reason why I like her 400 Days design better is because, in the context of that picture and in the game, we didn't have that many characters who wore open jackets, so that pink blouse and especially that white tshirt popped pleasantly. With that said, that pink blouse is probably my favorite aesthetic wise because it's a neat touch for some detail variety and , like with Michelle, having this infamously mean-spirited character wearing pink is humorous.
Dang it I actually planned on makin' this type of character design (my superior topic) thread... oh welp...
Here's a question that I have… more been wondering about S2 clothing during winter, what would be more preferable to wear? Unseen out on the open that is.
Not sure what you're asking here, but every character besides Luke and initially Rebecca had a jacket on anyway.
What I meant is what new winter articles they could've wore during the winter, I didn't really liked how characters had the same clothes like Luke he just unrolled his sleeves and that's it.
I would've preferred in that concept art that Clem actually wore a jacket with her cap on.

Where is this?
Why did Lee only wear his badass jacket in episode 2? Hell, the title screen for Ep 4 SHOWS him wearing it again!
And like Tavia said, that Jacket Bonnie gave Clem was pretty garish and ugly. It would have been nice to have the choice to wear it or not, like the hoodie in season 1
Really? It's not about fashion in this game, it's about survival, Clem didn't exactly like the jacket either but it's all she had to keep warm, Clementine has a great jacket in season 3 anyways if you're really worried.
The jackets annoy me.

all the more reason for Lee to keep on a thick leather jacket...?
as for clem, again I was referencing season 1's choice of giving Clem the hoodie or not
Nah, having a Jacket doesn't mean that really, plus it would've bit the thin part of the lower sleeve. Lee would've died either way, and honestly needed to, made season 1 a lot more emotional and set Clem's story up very well.

Hoodie-clad Clementine is my favourite design in the series.
Yeah, she is definitely one of the best and one of the most iconic imo.… more
The family in the Jane ending easily had the worst designs since they were glaring rip-offs of existing characters. (No image necessary if you have see Carlos, Molly, and Duck.)
Ah, but why wouldn't people wanna see Ginger Mark, Indian Molly, and Black Dick?
Luke and Nick were too similar to be honest. It would have been understandable had they been brothers.
Really? I don't really see it.
Stephanie is the prettiest female in the series, but her hair looked so wig-like. It was not made to blend with her body model at all.
Oh, so that's the problem!
Some of the best character designs were in the details. Like Eddie's tats and piercings.
Dee is another of my favourites. She had a realistic aged face and everything combined to make a really cohesive design.… [view original content]
I still believe that it would've gone through giving him the small bite, unless Lee was wearing a bunch of pillows around himself, he'd still end up bit.
Lol, Becca is only in season 2 for about 10 seconds so why would that bother you?

the what now?

Off to a great start, I see: tits in wax museums.
Here's a few off the top of my head: I'm not really a fan of Kenny and Carver.
Kenn… morey's Season 2 design in particular kinda bothers me for a number of reasons despite being fine enough on its own. I'm mostly thinking of his wardrobe to be honest, but the beard is one decent example.
Carver's design was always a sticking point for me since it told me everything I needed to know.
Lol, Becca is only in season 2 for about 10 seconds so why would that bother you?
Purely an aesthetical nitpick. I know I'm not a mod or a sfm user that can make things using existing models but l just don't like that design very much and would rather use the original if I did.

Maybe its a thing about having certain tastes cause I actually didn't mind it, especially since cyan and purple seem to be a popular combo, for some reason.

True. I think my issue was that it made him look more like a stereotypical redneck dressed in somewhat dull, faded colors. Not to mention the eyebandage/patch making him look like a pirate and especially the weird undertones of him and Jane fighting.
In the land of the blind...
Weird looking grandma! Who did this?! Worst designed character by TTG. Was she representing Mexico in swimmin… moreg at the olympics? Or was it a male model changed later into old woman. The hair, face, lips, arms... Is this Telltale's tribute to Caitlyn Jenner?
So as you probably know, I really don't like Carver--from his scruffy appearance, to his shitty color scheme, to his smug psychopathy, to his one-note characterization, to the fact that he looks like a rejected Walker Texas Ranger villain...in a lifetime movie, and even to the fact that he was so hyped up by both the first two episodes and the fanbase--, to the point that I considered him one of the three characters I legitimately hate/loathe.
With all that being said, this takes the cake:
Wow...to think that Rebecca may have cheated on Alvin with THAT. From what I'm told, that is indeed supposed to be Carver's original model that was apparently left in the game's files. I seriously think they changed that purely because no one could take him seriously if he looked like that. I mean, holy shit, were we really supposed to be intimidated by someone that looks like Han Solo from the Star Wars Holiday Special with a literal horseshoe stache attached?

Man why couldn't the Cabin crew just broke into a fashion mall and let us pick the winter outfits... (like small "breather" moments) I mean if they are able to animate different scars on Clementine, this shouldn't be a big deal.

All I'm saying is, if Jane looked that way in season 2 she wouldn't be in the situation she's in now.
Eeh, ...spoilers?(I thought the game was supposed to come out tomorrow?)
For sure

I think you got that backwards, pal.
huh?
Jane's isn't that bad, but Kenny's is absolutely terrible
Kenny, Danny, Marcus, Nate, Carlos, Troy, and Buricko are pretty much stereotypes when stop to look at em. Might as well toss Jane in there too. Though I guess Larry, Doug, Danny, Jolene, Eddie, Michelle, Luke, Carver and Reggie aren't that much better.
I am glad they gave Javier a beard. He looks like a stereotypical movie high school jock/bully without it.

Neat.

That was a legitimate typo that I decided not to change due to laziness(initially) and because its funny(current).
