Episode 3: Selina's Cat Claw
Hi everyone!
I am trying to figure out some of the minor consequences at the moment and was wondering:
After spending the night at Selina's apartment you have the chance to steal her Cat Claw. Does this have any effect later on in the game?

She is not too happy about it in Episode 5. And rightly so, this is such a dick move.
She has all the reasons in the world to be pissed.
Do you ever actually use it in the game?
EDIT: You could argue that it's payback for her taking your grappling gun.
Yes, when Batman escaped Lady Arkham, but that was before you actually stole it. After that it serves no purpose.
Thanks. So, it only matters in the last discussion. I thought one could mabybe use it in an action scene (like when you get to use a new device in Episode 4 if you invited Lucius to the Batcave).
A well. I think I had to expect that. It's more like the withdrawing of funds from Harvey's campaign. One dialogue line reaction and that's mostly it.
That would have been really awesome but as with everything you have to make choices and Telltale can only do so much with their ressources.
Sometimes we forget just how difficult developing games can be, we have very limited visibility of development processes.
I stole the Cat Claw in Episode 3, and in Episode 5 she was pissed and I said to her that I wanted it as a memento. She laughed
I hoped for the same thing, but sadly I never used it as there was no opportunity for it

Oh, I do understand that. Personally, I think the different paths diverge quite a bit compared to some of the other games, so I am totally fine. I am currently doing a "unpopular decisions" run and it's eye-opening in a way!
