Dave is inspired by my real name. Arakin is the name that I usually named my main characters in video games and I admit it is inspired by Anakin from Star Wars.
Combining both of them, I become DaveTheArakin. With the strength and power of both names with none of its flaws.
Read a Sgt. Rock comic once and though "This guy isn't so bad," so I became a Rock.
My dad used to play a ton of online poker, and his username for that was his name followed by "114." Since I needed something to spice up just being "Rock" and, in my humble opinion, my dad is the greatest guy I know, I slapped those numbers on the end.
I just thought Akimbo Slice sounded kinda funny. It's taken from Kimbo Slice, the MMA fighter, and akimbo, which I got from Call of Duty. I'm pretty sure it means something else IRL, but in Call of Duty that's what they call dual wielding.
This was before Kimbo Slice died, so it wasn't in bad taste.
I just combined my favorite villain (Handsome Jack) and my favorite's video game character of all time (Lee Everett) and BOOM! Handsome Lee. And he's really handsome so... Why not?

My history loves are the American Civil War, and The Great World War. I ended up falling in love with the military march Alte Kameraden. To this day my favorite march. Really wish I could find the source of this version of the song but this one kind of stole my heart. lol
I wanted to be called "Dojo" on Club Penguin when I was 10 or something but since that was taken it recommended me dojo32161 and I liked the the sound of the combination of numbers so I took it.
A reference to the Warp Drive feature on Sam & Max Save the World (Season 1). There was a checkbox in the game settings labeled "Warp Drive" that appeared to have no effect. Telltale developers insisted it must do something, or it wouldn't be there, but they never said what it was.
