    This is too sad. Carrie dying just before her mother, all the other deaths of notable people we've seen in 2016, the deaths of those who were killed wrongly, the numerous attacks on groups and minorities, the rise and strengthening of Racism, Sexism, Homophobia, Xenophobia, etc, etc. etc!!

    As of time of writing, just 3 days until 2017.... 3 DAYS..... NO. ONE. MUST. DIE.

    Her son said that her last words were pretty much "I want to be with Carrie" So it may officially have been a stroke that killed her but i have to believe that the stroke was brought on by the heartbreak and stress of losing her daughter. At her age, it was too much to overcome. No parent should outlive their child.

    The worst deaths of 2016 to me that hit me hard was David Bowie and Scott Weiland.

    I've been a fan of Stone Temple Pilots since I was 12 and about two years ago I told my friend "Well Scott got out of rehab and is doing good, then relapses out of nowhere. That Velvet Revolver band was really dragging him down with his drug use. I'm sure that he won't live much longer and when he dies it will be a sad day cause he is a genius song writer and a great singer. The various ways that he approaches the microphone is incredible." I got my friend interested in STP. At the bar he recently sang Interstate Love Song to cheers.

    David is another hero of mine and he inspired countless generations with his music. Thom Yorke of Radiohead tweeted that he was very sad to hear that his hero David Bowie had passed away. In the tweet he said that David was always an inspiration to his music.
