Best method actor ever. I have had a crush on him for the longest time heh heh I remember the first thing I saw him in was Hitchcock's "I confess" man he was awesome. I totally bingewatched his whole filmography after that
Yes! Not only impossibly handsome, but a fascinating person. From Here to Eternity was probably my first, then A Place in the Sun, the latter being one of my favorite movies. Then I read about the rest of his life and well...it makes me pretty sad. If only the car accident never happened...could say that about James Dean, too. But I developed a whole new respect for Liz Taylor. Notably, she pulled a tooth out of Clift's throat to save his life. Say whatever else you will about her, she was a real friend.

Yeah, Liz was a great friend to Monty and Monty was a great friend to her. To be honest though, I think he died the moment he survived that car accident. I think his confidence really took a beating, not to mention his spiral into alcoholism,
I have heard some accounts from his friends and well... he wasn't the most mentally stable person. I think he kind of hated Hollywood tbh
Marilyn Monroe said something about Monty when they did a film together. She said something along the lines of "He's the only person I know who's in worse shape than I am",
I think they were pretty good friends too

Sorry for the late reply, battling facefuls of unwanted pr0n atm
But I agree it was over for him after his accident, and a "long suicide" could not be more apt to call it. The reconstruction was pretty phenomenal but I think the biz at the time did a number on a lot of legendaries like Monroe herself
Plus there's the topic of his repressed sexuality, and the expectations thereof at the time. Just adds another sad layer to the tragedy. Makes you wonder what movies/performances the world missed out on because of bullshit like that.

I heard that he got plastic surgery, but I also heard that he just naturally recovered from it, so I don't know what happened tbh But you're right. His face looked similar post injury in the second half of Raintree County. Personally I think it was his alcoholism that made his appearance even worse. Liz said that he was still beautiful after the accident, but he wasn't that "out-of-this world" beautiful he used to be (or something along those lines) That probably made him really depressed because I think he took a lot of pride in that
I bet he could have played so many more great roles if the times were different. It's sad that he and so many other actors had to hide and tread carefully or their careers would have been over. I think my favourite performance will probably always be him in Judgement of Nuremberg. It was only a small part, but he was so great in it.

Hmmmm not the choices I would have made.
The One
The Only
Brad Kane tho
I've seen way too much of this mans naked flesh from watching It's Always Sunny
God Bless
I'd go straight for Ewan McGregor.
Adding Monty Clift
Shameful lack of Dwayne Johnson in here
Oh yes, how could I have forgotten
Hugh Jackman is obviously best boy.
(Young) Donald O'Connor
Alex Turner

Specially when Viria draws him
I'd like to nominate myself, because I am just that fine. Lol!
He's Superman right? I'll look like a moron if he's not lol
I remember him being in the Superman vs Batman movie with Ben Affleck

Dude, that's just cruel.
I love Leo.
Harrison Ford (Star Wars/Indiana Jones time period)
George Clooney
I do have other picks, but people have already mentioned them.
This doesn't really count but I think Ifan Meredith is sexy. I'm a bit biased when I say it because I'm a total SWTOR junkie

I love him too! (He's probably the only well written character in the last five books and definitely my type). How was that cruel!?
Oh, I was just saying because of the "on fire" thing.
I mean, he has handsome in his name.
No he would be hot even if he had ice powers
Who can say no to this?
they turn into iguanas
