She would be the greatest character of all time...if only the writers could add more to her character rather than pigeon holing her to the "little girl just trying to survive" trope.
The best way to do that is don't just make her a survivor. All Telltale has to do is make her character play a important role in the The Walking Dead Universe. So much so that it would also impact the comics

One could argue that Lee is a lot more better in terms of a character then Clementine, because Season 1 had the biggest impact and it was him we played as trying to save her. When she took over as the player character, she didn't have nearly the impact Lee did as the player character.
As a huge fan boy myself it's difficult to say no. But she maybe the best "MCGUFFIN" of all time. Right up there with "How'd The ZA start?" Or "How will it all end?". If you've followed TTGS TWD from the start. She is the embodiment of questions like these. Adding to that appeal is the fact that we have molded her in" our own image". While this is certainly more true of her than alot of similar characters. She is for some of us,the first ethnical character for which her color,sex and age had no bearing on how we played her. She's "Our Clem". And that has been truly special....To bad its all been a setup to rip out our hearts in the end. Rip "Sweet Child of Mine". As "Mcguffins" go you've been one of the best ever...TTG feel free to make me a liar....plz

"Do you not see that Telltale completely change her personality after each timeskip?" Its called growing up, not everyone stays the same throughout their whole life. People change, ESPECIALLY in the apocalypse. Plus they are the ones who made the character so i dont how you think you KNOW for a fact what her personality is like. Its true our choices dont affect her personality at all, so how can anything she does be out of character? Like, we've seen "badass" clem plenty of times in season 2 so its not like they just pulled it out of their ass. That's just how they decided to write her and imo i really liked the way they build her up to this season. From a defenseless little girl, to a scared little girl, and now into a tough brave survivor. And the reason why shes in season 3 is because its fucking clem. I've said this so many times and ill say it again, Telltale THEMSELVES have said that twd has ALWAYS been about clem even when doing season 1. The reason why it seems like(to some people but not me personally) clem is just "there" is because of fucking javi. He's the fucking problem. Because telltale thought it would be fucking genius to write a story that isn't focused on the MAIN CHARACTER but instead on some random dude just to get new people into the series. Which is fucking retarded as if the fanbase for this game isn't decently big already and for some reason they expected more new people to jump into this season then old players. IMO clem is still very centered around the plot.
