This is the exact logic SJWs use, you're aware of this right? I am offended by this one dev so the game will be terrible and full of sexism/racism etc?

If one of the lead designers is like this, there's bound to be more. Also, he can probably hide some racist shit in the game but cover it up by making it about aliens or something.

This. 100% this. It's frustrating at times that people think that way. As for short hair. The page boy haircut on the right woman is one of my favorite hair styles.

  • Maybe he doesn't feel it's the same without Shepard?

it doesn't feel like Mass Effect to me why?

  • I've never played a mass effect game.. Are they worth getting into? First of all, is the story and the characters interesting? From what I've seen it's an rpg/third person shooter set in space? I like RPGs like fallout and the witcher 3 but I hate halo.

  • It is very much a game worth getting into. It's an RPG with one of the best stories from the last generation of consoles.

Very much so. The lore is amazing and all the alien races have an incredible amount of detail put into them. It is a shooter but that's not even why I enjoy playing it, it's the characters and story.

  • I dunno if I'd actually list the lore as particularly of note with mass effect tbh, dragon age has much much better fleshed out lore.

What mass effect does really well is create compelling characters and atmospheres

  • Wow buddy. Maybe you should go and make your own games then? Based upon your your own ideas? They can have all the skinny little white humans chicks you want then. You can even do their hair all pretty like you like. Jesus.

I find your comments about women highly offensive, pixelated characters or not, you are just being insulting. This SJW shit is getting fucking ridiculous.

I am angry because Liam looks like a retard and Cora is ugly as fuck SJW is ruinning everything, I have waited months to see Liam and C

  • You can't have sex with your game consol either, but it looks like you are determined to try.

Because you can't have sex with someone personality.

  • I dunno the universe its made is pretty interesting and the history it establishes.

  • I like that they're letting players choose between thermal clips from ME 2/3 or the heat sink method from ME 1 for the guns in Andromeda. Gives fans of both a choice on the type of ammunition.

I haven't played Dragon Age so I wouldn't know. ME's lore is just fine with me.

  • I agree it's interesting, I just don't think the lore is massively in depth when compared to other examples of the genre.

I dunno the universe its made is pretty interesting and the history it establishes.

  • The lore is well done, it's just not particularly deep/there's not that much of it. Species have individual things described about them but it's very rare where we have an intimate knowledge of the different cultures from music to law to ideology that you get with other examples in the same genre imo, and that's a shame, I'd have loved to find out more about turian culture for example, and now we've left the milky way possibly forever.

  • I personally enjoyed the thermal clips more than the heat sink. It was rather annoying that my gun got overheated in ME 1 and I have to stop and find a place to recover. Thermal clips just made the battle flows better without making the guns overpowered.

  • Ive been playin like I don't want it because I didnt like dai that much, but i want it more and more as the release date gets closer. Its a smooth and good looking game.

  • Ive always been a bit torn. The overheating element made mass effect feel a little bit unique, but the thermal clips are a better game mechanic overall. I always thought if they added the option to keep shooting your gun with the possibility of damaging it after you run out of thermal clips would be a lore friendly wrinkle in that design.

  • I hope in the sequel they go back to the Milky Way and see how much has changed in the past 600 years and eventually find out what was the canonical Mass Effect 3 ending

  • They've said they'll never make any me3 ending canonical so I don't see us going to the milky way

  • Only 1 and 2 are worth playing. 3 is horrible ( and before anyone say "only because of the ending." No the entirety of 3 was bad. Bad writing, retconning of player choice from the previous games, and a bad space ninja villain.)

  • I'll give you Tuchanka only because of Mordin, but citadel DLC was just massive fan service. It didn't even fit into the context of the story. We literally had reapers destroying huge populations of species, and Shepard and crew decide to throw a party? The only reason citadel DLC existed was because of the outrage BW faced on there forums for the treatment of the me2 characters. You barely got to interact with them in the base game so BW gave fans a DLC to have a proper goodbye. It was so cringe worthy, especially the dialogue at some points.

Most of the time, when SJWs say something/someone is racist, it's not. This man is actually racist and is one of the lead developers of the game. And I also know for a fact that there is more.

  • I'm not offended by their opinions, I'm offended at how racist they are. If they hate white people, then they hate me too. They hate people they haven't even met before. I don't want to buy a product from people that are so unprofessional. However, even if I ignored all of that and was going to buy this anyway, the options for romance, which is a big thing in this series for me, look, to be honest, shit.

You've expressed several times that you don't want to buy this because you're offended by the opinions of some members of the dev team? I doubt how the party members look is affecting you that much unless you actually were considering buying it :P

Literally admitting you hate all white people isn't different politics. Don't wanna be a dick, but stop putting words in my mouth.

Hang on, so it's not even that you dislike them putting politics in the game, it's because some developers have different politics to you?

  • I know for a fact that there are cool people working at Bioware too(I live in the city). So by the same logic, the slate is wiped clean.

  • They did say that, but they also had 3 come out to be a hit even with all the criticism. That was followed by Dragon Age, which came out to zero competition and again was a hit. If they have a couple sub-par showings, we'd see what their stance truly is. This wasn't the first time developer has said "never" and it won't be the last.

  • I will not be buying if I don't get a confirmation on the Quarians' inclusion in the game.

How am I suppose to envision my male-Shepard banging a backwards-leg-wide-hip-game-having-sexy-voice-modulated-mask-for-survival-wearing-pirky-breast-hottie-Quarian when they aren't even in the game?
