Do you think these two pics were made at a time relatively close to each other? How do you think the story would've originally gone based on them?

  • The achivements for EP3 and EP4 were leaked very close together IIRC. Looking it up, EP3 was leaked around early-mid April while EP4 achivements were leaked around late April.. EP2 came out early March so they were very likely done close together. In terms of rewrites, I think the story was going to be vastly different while ep1 was in production.

TTG made all the achievements for TWAU before ep2 was released but because of the massive rewrites, some of them look really out of place.

  • I don't know much about Negan, but Anton was a fucking beast in No Country for Old Men. Nah, no matter how badass Negan might be, he ain't got a chance.

And on the subject of the actual characters, Anton Chigurh is probably one of the most frightfully cold and chilling movie villains on screen, so again, I doubt Negan's got much chance against him on that department either.

  • There are some very amazingly pointless mods out there, eh

    DabigRG posted: »

Not really. It's some weiredass mod that splices Jane's face onto Clementine's; that's why you may see some markings on her face.

  • Yep. Still, people do what they can for the sake of entertainment and I honestly kinda wish I knew how to do it myself.

  • 400 Days survivors that went to Howes: dead or alive?

  • I guess... Troy caught Clem wondering off, when she was looking for Luke.

They were surrounded by a herd of walkers, and they proooobably didn't know about the guts trick, so...yeah, they're dead.

EDIT: But then again, Kenny survived being surrounded by a herd of walkers in an alleyway, or being stuck in a very dark building with a herd.

400 Days survivors that went to Howes: dead or alive?

  • Okay then. I've never seen that happen before.

  • Maybe if Clem leaves the place before Troy checks inside and they speak outside? No idea, but they didn't have many scenes together, so it has to be something related to that situation.

  • Was Kenny's line about Wellington in Amid the Ruins added at the last minute or something?

  • Uh...no.

At the risk of sounding like I'm baiting or whatever(or that I believe it myself), do you think Sarita was supposed to have been abused by Kenny?

  • Are Season 2(particularly the 2nd half) and ANF examples of the consequences of commercialism?

  • They weren't surrounded, though. The zombies were approaching from one direction, right? Plus we didn't see any human corpses when they go back, so it's safe to assume they all made a hasty retreat in the other direction.

    r-right?

There's a problem I have with the draw the herd plan. NOBODY objects to possibly killing the other people staying at Howe's.
I mean, WHAT THE FUCK?! These are our heroes, huh?

  • FIFTY FUCKING PAGES BABY!

  • It does. I've seen videos of how much smoother the animation and the whole game can be on a proper computer. Not to mention all the awesome mods, digging into the game files for cut content, sound files and stuff.
    Ugh. It sounds awesome.

    Maybe one day.

  • Yeah, that was a definite moral oversight. Obviously, everyone was more focused in getting the fuck away from there and letting Kenny beat the shit of Carver(who dies on the second hit, btw) than considering if Howe's won't be able to fend the herd off. And it's not like the herd wasn't going to attack anyway, Still, at the very least you'd think Bonnie, Luke, and Sarah would have reservations about that.

  • Yeah, probably. At the very least, Sam seemed to be genuinely disturbed about the children, so it's possible those scavengers were at least somewhat friendly. And then Randall and Gabby showed up....

I feel like both Norma and Sam were lying to some extent.

  • But there's season 2's dumbed down writing for you.
And it only gets worse from there.
I would have been happy if the 400 days gang went with them through the herd, even though that would probably mean they just stand around the historic site doing nothing until being shot dead by russians.

I'd say this thread'll get 100 pages by...I'd say September.

  • They actually were surrounded at that point, because as someone pointed out Howes was in the eye of the storm so to speak.

I feel like nobody really cares about what happened to Howes because of what happened to the Moonstar lodge and also because the only character that was somewhat humanized ended up leaving with them anyways. The rest of Howes came across as rather cold, even the 400 Days characters.

  • Were there Monroe survivors after the attack on the Fairbanks manor? Namely Gabby or Jonas depending on whether Sam killed Zachary.

  • If Eddie left Wyatt behind, do you think he continued ued looking for his friend or did Eddie give up eventually?

  • Yeah, probably. Honestly, I don't see too much of a reason why Becca specifically couldn't have been around more, especially given this was supposed to be Clementine's Season and Becca manages to be a very different character for both her and Sarah, even if it's not necessarily a positive thing.

  • Given he actually seemed to have some heart in him, he probably wanted to look for him but likely had no luck.

  • I'm wondering if he stayed in the general area or eventually moved on. You can find his car at Gils later on, so we know he at least tried circling back around.

  • Why the crap was Bennett all alone in the middle of some creepy backwoods road?

  • He stayed for a while, he must have. He felt guilty for hitting Benett so he definitely must have felt guilty for leaving his best friend behind. I'm wondering why he ditched his car though. Must have ran out of gas I guess. Clearly he was supposed to be in S2 and we might have found out buuuuut rewrites.

  • To be fair, his car got pretty jacked in the crash. Missing side mirror, cracked and bloody windshield, and missing window. Coupled with the fact that gas was becoming scarce, he probably decided that it wasn't suitable for both shelter and transportation.

The real question is where he went after he ditched the wheels. Did he stay at Gils for a while? Did Nate finally find him? Did he just sort of wander away and find a weed plantation where he lives happily?

I'm gonna go for the last one on that. Maybe that's where Kate got the weed from!

  • Linking 400 Days to ANF FTW!!!

But then that raises another question.... why wasn't Eddie there when they found the weed? From the sounds of it the grow op was abandoned.

Actually, he and the other characters on the cover art for Amid the Ruins were apparently supposed to be placeholders. I'm not saying he was never considered to show up at some point, but that's how it goes.

    Did Nate finally find him?

Considering there's a credits shot of him dragging Officer Bennett with Nate waiting to have a word with him in the background, that's a strong possibility.

  • Eh, considering I made this thread back in July, I somehow doubt that. Still'd be amazing if it did happen!

  • He probably ran off after he broke down at Gil's. Then again, considering Deputy Clyde, Officer Bennett, Walt, and Jean were later "employed" there....
