Dennis Lenart, Nick Herman and Pierre Shorette left TellTale so I guess we can too

Bad news: TellTale lost some of their best employees
Good news: Ubi might finally make more story driven games again, which they haven't done since AC: Rogue.

Damn! Telltale's talented roster seems to be getting smaller and smaller I wonder why there is such a high turnover of staff at Telltale recently. Hmm...
When some of the best Telltale employees are now gone
That doesn't sound good for Telltale. However, I wish them the best of luck at Ubisoft.
I wonder what this means for ANF. Nick Herman and Dennis Lenart did a good chunk of work on S1 of TWD. This is pretty sad news, I think this is going to negatively impact the series even more.
Another group leaving Telltale. It really seems like a red flag, as most companies lose a person here and there, this is now the second time(that I've been around for) where more than 2 people have gone at once.
What the heck is going on?
If it was an issue of poaching and money, then okay. That's something you just have to live with while a review of employee satisfaction may be in order. If they were let go, yikes.
While people moving on and people moving up is a reality of any business, four at once? Ouch.
I guess I'll be saying goodbye to Clementine now. ANF was shit already, the next episodes will be even worse. Sad to see it end like shit, but oh well - can't do anything about it since Telltale doesn't listen to criticism at all.
Now Tales S2 (if it ever releases) will be shit as well.
Don't forget Wolf S2 (if that ever releases) which will also be shit.
Damn, it's pretty sad to see them leave as they are some of the bigger/more common names i saw working on different Telltale games.
I know people do like to move on to different things and wish them all the best but it is slightly concerning seeing so many bigger names leave recently.
TellTale right now:
Mid-season?
Drama queen

Aww I am sad to see them leave especially Nick and Pierre who were part of the team who made Tales from the Borderlands as well as The Walking Dead.
But I don't feel too worried. Telltale still has plenty of good writers (Eric for example) and maybe new blood will eventually show their credibility.
Because the company is poorly run and managed and Telltale finds it easier to hire new people out of college rather than keep the more experienced staff. Don't believe me, look at the Glassdoor reviews.
Welp my last inch of hope is gone for this season now with this beautiful news -_- telltale just keeps F'ing itself constantly this year
This is honestly some very troubling news. Lenart and Herman were some of Telltale's longest running workers, and Shorette was easily one of the most talented writers. The fact that these 3, along with Sarasohn, left all at once is quite alarming. I do wish them all the best of luck at Ubisoft, I'm sure they'll do fantastic work and bring a lot to the company, but this management style at Telltale cannot keep allowing stuff like this to happen. Based on the Glassdoor reviews that both former and current employees leave, Telltale has little to no interest in keeping people with them, settling instead to hire people straight out of college and exploit them with low pay. They treat employees as expendable, and this trend cannot continue.
So I guess with Herman and Shorette gone, chances of a TFTBL S2 are even slimmer. And to make things slightly worse, Lenart, who was a huge contributor to both S1 and S2 of TWD, was one of the creative leads on ANF. Now that's two people, Lenart and Brad Kane, who have left Telltale mid season.
To be fair I don't believe there ever was going to be a TFBL S2. It appears TFBL overall served as a bridge of sorts into BL3. We could always hope for DLC content for TFBL in future Borderlands games. And the TFBL group may be main/playable characters in BL3 as hinted in the pre sequel.
Dennis was also a huge contributor to The Walking Dead S2 and was one of the creative leads for ANF. So him, along with Brad Kane, leaving mid season like this are not good signs.
I wish them good luck, but their leaving is not a bad thing.
[Blind Sniper Mod EDIT:] To prevent people from further making a lot of posts just to request to see what Kenny said - she just didn't like some of their contributions to Season 2 and wants to see what new writers can add in their place.
What makes you say that?
I will PM you the answer as it could get me a ban...
At this point, as much as Id like to have a Tales and Wolf Season 2, I kinda dont anymore, knowing almost all the original people are now gone. That plus"
"Hey Telltale, why do Bigby, Rhys and Fiona look like forks?"
"Well we personally dont think they do."
Sent you the PM
I could send you my reasoning as well if you want.
...me three?
EDIT: To spoil it - she just didn't like some of their writing in Season 2.
Got it and read it.
I understand.
Can I see your reasoning as well? Because to me it seems like some of their best employees are gone.
I would also like to read it.
Send me this if you may. I'm quite interested myselfm
If I hear that ****** J.T. Petty being told to write another episode, I'd flip so fucking hard. He is a terrible writer. Fact.
Can I also get a PM
Sent to me as well if you don't mind
Suddenly @Kennyshouladiesdins1 has become popular.
