what has Telltale become?
we went from twd s1's ending to s3 (so far, i am EXPECTING more but maybe that's a mistake) i just thought of the contrast you know.. from a business that imo could rival naughty dogs story telling to something like ubisoft, or thq .. just mediocre other than ac 2 and fc 3 those are the bomb but i just wanted to start a discussion on the evolution of telltale plus improvements

What has Telltale become? An idiotically run, immature corporate wolfhound that devours contracts like babies drink milk and continuously pisses on themselves and their image, ignoring their fanbase and squeezing as much money as they can out of any given situation with no consideration for consequences. They do have a good online forum however.
My sweetest friend.
I was a big NIN fan in high school and the joke was hard to pass up.
(sorry folks, I think I've mourned enough to be able to return)
i thought of the johnny cash version while writing this

I do see what you mean though.
Most of all the developers that worked on S1 are gone. Sean Vanaman being the main one. He was the main genius in s1. I loved S2 as well. At this moment I give S3 a 4.
A survivor who was once a decent man, drifting with the current of fame into the jaws of a waterfall.
Well... "fame" might be stretching it a little. :P
I was planning to buy season 3 today after my hiatus from playing TT games; I gotten bored of their games after passing season 2 of TWD and episode 1 of GOT. I stopped since I was getting bored by their storytelling as it was getting stale; I didn't like how they brought back Kenny due to pleasing the Kenny fans, resulting in his original death (which Lee can watch) have no meaning and the "wannabe Governor" Cutter was lame at best.
However, I have heard their other games were good and I just bought Batman so I will give it a try. As such, is season 3 that bad? Before I read this thread, I saw a polygon review that gave the earlier season 3 episode a 7.5? Should I wait till the series goes on sale for 10-25 percent to it or wait till it becomes 50 percent off?
Eh, its not terrible like alot of people here would have you believe, although its way too action focused, there have barely been any downtime in action in the first 2 episodes, and there have barely been any character development so far compared to season 1, so far the most positive thing has been that its interesting to see Clementine from a thirdperson perspective, although alot of people are not happy with how Telltale have portrayed her, (I think its a natural progression of her character though), and although I am not really happy with the direction they have taken A New Frontier, (new protagonist that I dont really care about, I would have rather played as Clementine again), its not nearly as bad as people say, and I have been enjoying it, although I feel like alot of the characters have some pretty bad character traits that makes them hard to care about.
