What would you do if you saw a small mouse stuck...?

What would you do if you saw a small mouse stuck on a sticky paper trap that laid for a week?

  • Do you kill it right away, put it out of it's misery?
  • Or will just let nature take it's course, give it a chance to escape eventhough there less than 10% chance?
  • Others, please specify.

  • I once skipped classes to take a wounded baby squirrel that I found to the animal doctor.

So I'd probably free it. I dont take pleasure in the suffering of small defenseless beings.

  • Set it free obviously, unless its certain to die I guess

  • Set it free.

  • Are you looking for psychopaths here?

  • i would set it free outsideee

  • Sacrifice it to Cthulu of course...put it in the garbage...it is a mouse.

  • I'd drink heavily, wondering why karma is such a bitch.

Try to set it free, of course.
If that isn't possible, I'd let nature take its course. :(

    (rhyme not intended)

  • I wouldn't use glue paper, it's inhumane. Quick and clean with a mousetrap is the way to go.

If I saw one, I'd tell the building owner. Trying to free the mouse would probably just maim it or get you bitten.

  • I'd dissect it alive and hang the head as a warning so that the other bastard mice know not to intrude on my territory.

  • Just a correction in my question. it was supposed to be "...that you laid...", which means you're the one who set the trap to keep the mice away.

  • Use it for my computer.

Make sure to put on some gloves so you don't get bitten, then give it a carrot or something, and set it free, AWAY from your home.

  • The best thing to do is kill it the trap was put there because there is a pest problem. Freeing it would cause pain and distress and the mouse will just go back to where it came from.

I have a mouse problem and have considered buying these but I decided not in the end.

  • I'd bash it with a hammer and then eat the remains. Boring, I know.

  • I would turn to alcoholism and live every day as a shell of my former self, reflecting on how the world would let such an innocent creature have this fate. I wouldn't free it though.

  • This reminds me of that one scene in Orange is the New Black

  • Hang its head on my wall and feed the rest to my dogs. Fuck mice, man.

  • Set it free, of course

  • I usually set those glue traps. It eventually dies.

Guys.... Am I a bad person?

  • Why is "Free it" not an option?

  • Well... That's kinda cruel.

  • In general, I think mouse traps are better. I have a bit of a mouse problem too, but sticky traps seem kinda inhumane.

  • Because it's supposedly hard to free a mouse from a sticky trap without crippling it, which will just result is a prolonged, painful death.

Id attempt some kind of surgery, cut around the trap, the mouse will still have some on its feet but it would be alive, then id feed it give it food, then id eat it

  • maybe because for sticky papers, you don't need bait food to lure them.

a sticky paper can catch more than.

  • If it was certain to die? Put it out of its misery and get rid of the trap. If there was a chance, he rid of the trap and rehabilitate it.

  • I would set it free further away from the building it had been caught inside hence the trap and secondly hope it'll survive or let mother nature take it's course.
