Id rather eat a Jill sandwich than sit through another tutorial level! Unless the tutorial fits in with the campaign nicely
Or when the tutorial is the story
cough For Honor cough
I don't know what that is
Tutorials always happen in video games. That is why Resident Evil Remake is one of my favourite games of all time.
For Honor is a game published by Ubisoft.
Elaborate
Cliches are not bad as long as they are done well and interestingly.
In my opinion, as long as I care and love the characters, cliches doesn't annoy me.
Main protagonist has amnesia
Revenge plots family members dies cough Assassin's Creed cough I could careless at this point I just want to get it over with that is one of the positive things about AC2 Ezio ignores his death family (which is weird) and acts happy... I just hate revenge okay
I think the entire First person shooter genre is cliché, it has barely changed since like, Call of Duty, and even shooters that are considered really good like Bioshock infinite or whatever, I just cant play them, since they feel similar to every other shooter I have ever played, I would much rather just play the original Doom or Duke Nukem 3d, the only first person shooter that I have really enjoyed in recent years is Shadow Warrior 2013, it had a very nice mixture of visceral melee combat, and very fastpaced shooting
I'd eat a Jill sandwich anyway she looks good
I love Revenge plots. Sparing or saving the bad guy is a cliche as well.

The most annoying trope in all of Science Fiction.
See: Mass Effect & Halo
Well to be fair...it is the fact that these stories are written by humans. The best examples I can think of that turns those on it's ear would be Warhammer and Warhammer 40k , The Witcher series..Gears of War(though I only played the first 2) Avatar(though I guess it could be argued that it is a variation of the white messiah trope)
Money in boxes...coins hanging around for the taking...you know a lot of trouble could have been avoided if Bowser just collected those coins himself and hired some hookers instead of kidnapping Mario's woman.
It supposed to take place in ancient times focusing on 3 factions-- Samurai, Vikings and Knights. There's a story mode focusing on these factions and several versus modes (1v1, 2v2, or 4v4 w/conquer the settlement) You can also fully customize your warrior while also increasing your stats and adding inventory for battle.
Nonono, you've got Bowser all wrong, he just wants Peach to bake cakes for him, that's all.
But Bowser loves Peach He even has her as his phone's wallpaper.
I expect to see a Dateline NBC: The case of forbidden fruit
I'll admit that is a cliche but I'll always love it. I'll always really like the idea that despite everything they've been put through a character somehow has it in them to put aside their anger and do the right thing.
Well honestly I'm pretty tired of fantasy going on about what chaotic creatures humans are that it's refreshing for someone to say something positive about them.
Yes we call that being a pussy. Me...I feel that if you are on a mission of revenge..then by god there is going to be some fucking revenge.
Weapons just hanging around waiting for you to grab them....yes DOOM I am looking at you!
I saved one of Two-Face thugs in Batman Arkham City and he still attacked me. Idiot swine (Not you).
Doom has such a confusing story.
You jump in the water, you instantly die. I'm looking at you GTA 3 & Vice City, Assassin's Creed and Red Dead Redemption.
Lol yeah...that was some insane stuff.
Story...it has no real story...all you need to know is...DEMONS!
Creepypasta: Lava is disguised as water.
Exploding barrels.
Magical crystals....looking at you FINAL FANTASY!
Assassins Creed...only the assassins wear those hooded cloaks...why has no one caught on to this?
Turret cliches.
How is showing mercy being a pussy? I'd say it's a lot harder to spare a villain than kill them.
I don't consider it being pussy but coward.
I can't see that either. For most people every instinct and bone in their body would be telling them to end them but if they're a moral person their head would be saying "this is wrong, I shouldn't do this" but more often then not they do it anyway. Nobody spares a life because they're afraid of them. I could argue that you'd kill them because you're afraid of what they'll do if you let them live.
I see what u did there
But hey, at least old Bowser is better than a lot of parents. Always around to make sure his son isn't playing something inappropriate.
Always thought it was obvious in Doom. They are what's left of the wimpy marines that came before Doom Guy. I mean, if you can't shrug off 100+ fireballs from a single Imp, you deserve to be crushed or eaten by a demon
Sorry I didn't read what you said but when I am a revenge quest and I spare the one guy at the end I will do whatever it takes to mod the game and kill that person
It is kinda why I love Batman's character and moral code. Let's talk about the Dark Knight. He have every reason to kill The Joker. But the fact that he ultimately never crossed that line and even saved the Joker's life, shows us the strength of his character and his incorruptible nature makes him a hero.
In those games, water is as deadly as lava.
