There's this infamous gif of Sara lowering a turian's gun. Her expression is completely static.
Also see the previously posted gif of Peebee straddling Scott. Someone compared their movements to those of action figures. (I don't really have much of a problem with this one myself.)
They're not terrible, just a bit awkward. And the Sara gif is pretty old anyway.
I dunno, some of the jabs at their looks feel like petty jokes to me because I've seen every excuse to bash the game be thrown around and it all sounds like the same childish bullshit. Wow the asari looks like Shrek, real funny guys.
I'm all about the girl-next-door look anyway. I haven't noticed many stiff animations. Got any links as examples?
Edit: I wouldn't call t… morehe outpouring of hate for average looking characters as jokes. The people posting that hate might or might not hide behind that excuse. Depending on how much spine they have.
Why do people say PeeBee looks like shrek? I think she looks great, much better than in her initial appearance in that first trailer way bac… morek. And I'm not saying you think tht PeeBee looks bad, Just wondering why people think that, seems like they're all just looking for any excuse to hate on the game.

I think im gonna end up buyng regular since the extra packages dont seem to include anything important like the Deluxe version of ME3 had ((Rise from the Ashes))
I must be in the minority that liked Inquisition's exploration and almost played it to completion. But that said, I hope it's not too similiar to DA:I; Andromeda needs to have its own new and unique feel.
Anyone else think that we're going to get more than just six Squad members? Most likely two more in DLC.
And if we do get new squad members in DLC what races do you think should they be? Should they be new races or old ones, like the Quarians, or Salarians?

The only problems I've had with a DLC character was Javvik from ME3. A day one DLC character who was integral to the plot.
I just think if they're doing some DLC anyway might as well throw in a well written squad mate or two. Although I'd rather just have more than six squad mates in the base game to begin with.
Dlc done right...every developer needs to look at the Witcher 3 Dlc....I don't mind paying for dlc....just don't abuse it as a way to nickel and dime your fans to death.

All they need to do at the part where she takes the gun off her assailant is to lower her eyebrows, scrunch up her cheeks towards the lower eyelids, widen her eyes a bit more and make her blink, and finally make her grit her teeth a bit more. She looks as if she's struggling to make an angry-looking expression on her face.

Yes that was a slap in the face right off the bat....plus their dlc left a lot to be desired....The Citadel dlc was great...the omega one was a waste imo. Though I think Fallout 4's DLC....basically paying twice for the game was a bit much....I am not a fan of these season dlc passes as there is no way to gauge if you are going to get your money's worth.
Agreed. Blood and Wine, and Hearts of Stone, are big enough to be their own games.
I hope Andromeda DLC can compare. I at least hope they aren't selling us any day one DLC for their $90 game, Like they did with ME3.
I'm surprised there wasn't a season pass for Andromeda, considering EA is the publisher.
I'm not too worried about ME:A DLC anyway. Bioware puts out quality DLC about 90% of the time.
I even enjoyed the Omega DLC, would have enjoyed it much more though if it wasn't $15. Hoping Bioware doesn't try to pull crap like that this time around.

I'm not a fan of DLC characters so I hope there's none and anyways, I think six squadmate is a good number to start a new trilogy, after all Mass Effect 1 had six too. That said, I believe there will be more interactions with characters that are not in your squad and maybe some of them might join you in Andromeda 2 coughquariancough.

As long as the squad mates have a lot of dialogue I guess I won't mind the six squad mates as much. It will only really bother me if they repeat a lot of dialogue.

Just watched MEA's Peebee's loyalty mission and it was horrible. Everyone working at Bioware right now, is an unqualified forced diversity hire, all the real talent from a decade ago left, and it's extremely apparent in that video. I really want MEA to be an amazing game, but it's not looking good so far.
I think you now know why those dislikes/likes were divided after watching a fifth time(which I did)i'm starting to have doubt.Only a little doubt,I mean it's not there fault that Peebee acts like a child in that gameplay video.(I still think she is still good and so is the game)But having doubt I have?Make have a serious looking into my gaming soul and I'm trying to have hope that this game is good(oh dear god pls let be good).
It's like a octopus flying the airplane? You don't know why or how it happen? But you are cheering the octopus to prove you wrong and land it safely on the tarmac. But I still have hope and I'm trying to say that this game i'm hoping to be good ends up to be good.I still thought that Peebee acting like child with dialogue that only child would say like "What's Up,Little Guy" or "Welcome To The Team"(that part wasn't at all bad,but still came off like a big annoying)I like her character just wished they use a different form of dialogue on her instead of that I heard from the gameplay.
I'm saying this now cause I look at it more closely and started to have a little bit of doubt.I still think it's a good game and I hope it will be good and amazing

I think it's mostly because of her initial appearance, couldn't tell you the exact reasoning.
I think we do and it comes with the pre-order
Because the vocal minority wants eye candy when playing a videogame with female or male characters.
I'm looking forward to this game!!!
I hope so. Because i sure can't find the soundtrack anywhere on my PS4 when i pre ordered.

She sure does.
EDIT: Im just joking i known its gonna get fixed when the game s released.
.
The exploration and discovery video looks great. Looks like Mass Effect mixed with a little DAI.
Hopefully it's better than DA: I's exploration.
I must be in the minority that liked Inquisition's exploration and almost played it to completion. But that said, I hope it's not too similiar to DA:I; Andromeda needs to have its own new and unique feel.
I hope it has better side quests, but I did like the small open areas in DAI. I thought they were interesting to walk around in, and look at.
Funniest troll I read was someone complaining that the Tempest was a Normandy ripoff..I mean heaven forbid they use a proven design in exploration.
Seems pretty different to me. That's like calling Ryder a rip off of Shepard because they're both human.
That creepy face though... yeesh!
Well I think we can all agree that the Nomad is obviously a Mako ripoff.

Hopefully it'll be more manoeuvrable than the Mako.
I don't think so. Pretty sure Bioware is done with DLC characters at this point.
The only problems I've had with a DLC character was Javvik from ME3. A day one DLC character who was integral to the plot.

The final few frames are just about fine to me.

Aaaand the bottom video has now hit 1,000 dislikes. Fuck all of them, I'm excited.
There's no way I could pass up the pet Pyjak!
Two and a half weeks. Foams at the mouth.

Yeah I think that price was what soured me on it a bit...love Bioware...but man don I hate EA.

You reminded me of a show I really hate. Two and a half man.

Where them Quarians at tho?
Ian S. Fraiser said that you'll see them in the game based on the choices you make during MEA . So I'm assuming they make a determinant appearance.

What exactly was wrong with that extremely short footage?
