While I realize that this picture is from an early trailer, what do you think the original story was if that tattoo was originally on Javier? Any theories?

Perhaps he has yet to get it. He'll probably get branded in a future episode.
This is noncannon and was only for promotional purposes and apparently won't be in the game.
Hm, okay. I was wondering if maybe they were going to take the story in a different direction originally, but I guess not.
Well they did have several rewrites and this could've been at some point considered for story usage.
That's what I'm thinking. Didn't the voice actress for Clem say they've had an issue with knowing where they're taking this season storywise or something? I thought I read that somewhere.
That symbol is pure indecision.
Seriously though, Job said it was just put together as an idea or something, when asked if it meant Javier would be joining the NF group, and that it wasn't indicative of what would happen in the season.
They had no idea where they were going with the game 6 months before its release date.
