  • AJ being alive is the only thing that sparked any kind of reaction from me (anger and disappointement). The rest is exactly the kind of stuff I expected and don't care either way about (action over drama/character development/character bonding)

  • At least we know SOME of what happened to AJ.

  • Maggie is the actual leader of Hilltop in the comics, one of the four main communities and a friend of Rick, the protagnist.

I guess now is a bad time to mention I don't [plan on] read the comics either, huh? :p

Idk she had to watch her husband have his head smashed with a baseball bat when pregnant that kind of things traumatize people.

Oh, okay. So basically like if the rumors were true and Kenny got shot by Buricko/Vitali in front of Sarah then?

    Copied from the Waiting thread:

    • Spent over half of it on the worst character plot device ever--Mmm, isn't that lovely? Hopefully, they can pull something out of their ass to make him interesting cause he's worse than Tripp or Mariana in that regard.

    • Also, I see they're channeling In Harm Way's advertising with that shotgun freeze frame there, so I hope that's a bait-n-switch and not the spoiler it appears to be. At least it's with a waste of space instead of a main plot point this time.

    • Ah, finally something interesting and it's only 0:51 seconds in! Hopefully, whatever beef Clementine has with David will help make his character even more interesting than it would be with just the Garcias, determinately Conrad, and Badger around.

    • So Ava really is a babystealer--can't say nobody saw that coming. Unless David is the mastermind behind that particular move(which would be partially lame, if I'm honest), I really hope they can actually use that and keep the [Faux?] Affably Evil aspect of her to make her the multifaceted major antagonist I've been waiting for since Season 2. FINGERS CROSSED!!! TIMES INFINITE!

    • Is AJ sick or something? Cause while I know he always looked a little weird due to being a baby, he looks noticeably pale with eyeshadows in a nighttime scene.

    • Guess we know what that scene everyone's been hyping up for last two-three weeks is gonna be. I'll reserve any thoughts I might've had when we actually see the damn thing.

    • No Kate, Gabe, or Conrad in the trailer, I notice. Hopefully, they give them something to do in the episode proper or I'll be VERY disappointed in the episode since they're the only main ones with any actual development and complexity going in.

  • Hm, I can't get excited :/
Doesn't look like improvement. Actually, it looks terribly predictable. Of course AJ was taken away by TNF, of course we will be able to take revenge on Badger and of course there will be stuff about David vs. Clementine. Everyone knew these things would happen. In addition to that, the whole story feels short/rushed, like, the season covers how much time in the end? Two weeks?

I really miss the overall flair the first season had.

So, roughly Season 2's length then? I somehow doubt that.

  • To pissed us off more, I think Telltale will have us fight Badger, but not kill him, it'll end in a stalemate or something like that. Keep us bloodthirsty. Just my guess.

Well it looks like AJ is with David/New Frontier. That's to be expected. It's how they'll keep Clementine in our story since she left our group for most of us at the end of ep. 2.

Here comes more of that drama!

  • I can't fucking wait to beat Badger's head to a bloody pulp!

  • Maybe both MA dude
Wasn't this episode mentioned as very heartbreaking?

  • Lol how can you not like quick time events XD hell I'd love to have one of clem trying to open a pickle jar

I hope that fight scenes not too long, I've had enough pressing Y already, especially to keep Javier alive.

  • Huh? But there's drama: Javier vs Badger. Clem and David, and character development: Javier finally getting violent with a human, which seems new to him. I'd rather they not show everything in one video.

  • What? The whole reason Javier was in the truck in episode 1 was because he clocked a dude across the face with a crowbar. He can even shoot him in the back after the crash lol. Javier getting violent isn't character development, its two underdeveloped characters having a fight that should mean more than it does.

Dems the breaks, though Badger BARELY qualifies as a character--even by ANF's standards.

  • Yeah, and that's all he did. Didn't seem like a particularly Rick Grimes esque move, aka he seems to be about to go further than he has before. From how inexperienced the Garcia's seem, this feels like Javier's first time getting brutal with a human, especially with revenge as a motive. He clearly disliked killing the truck guy, too. Dismiss it if you want but this seems different.

  • Badger managed to slink out of punishment at the hands of David by blaming the death of Mariana and the attack on Prescott on somebody else, possibly Max

That would be the most dickish thing you could ever do, considering Max wasn't present during the Junkyard attack at daytime. Sounds pretty plausible though!
