I'm not sure how often people experienced those glitches, I've never experienced a single bug with the animations in Mass Effect 1 but in comparison, allot of people have been experiencing allot of animation glitches with Mass Effect: Andromeda.
Hey smartass, you keep posting pictures of glitches yet I've numerously mentioned I'm talking about ANIMATIONS. The way their faces move. You can't show that on a single picture.
I'm seeing a lot of news articles and videos being very critical of the game, Pewdiepies video has gained views faster than the trailers did… more.
I'm not sure how the game is going to turn out sales wise, I'm going to be super depressed if lots of people preordered it... like... I can't wrap my head around why you would preorder it when you get game the exact same game later on, with no negative affect, and being able to avoid it if it's a poor product...
Well aparently EA got rid of really talented people and replaced them with tumblr drones. When I see someone like her on the writing/story d… moreepartment I start to see why the game is like it is now. You know "My face is too tired" for example. Or the tumblr hairstlyes for women. No real character customisation as you can only have some really ugly presets. This is not Mass Effect anymore.

I don't think Bioware intentionally made them horrible. Like the glitches and bad animations I posted.
I just thought it was ridiculous to say that no one at Bioware gave a single fuck b/c some animations were glitching.
Of course Polygon and Kotaku make manipulative articles lying about the animator, I can't stand those websites, they just keep lying to people constantly.
Blame gamers whenever developers or publishers screw up! It's not like they give us money or anything!
We still see puppet mouth animations in some games. I did say that it still wasn't acceptable, but it's not terrible. They obviously tried and there are still a ton of polygons in the models... something just got seriously screwed up along the way to execution. I do hope it can be fixed.
So I was looking for a game (starting to run out of games lol) and I said hey let's buy this game.....THEN I saw pewdiepies video on it lmao ps2 games were better
3.2 Make sure that you're still here for the community discussion first, not primarily for making people aware of this video walkthrough or that fan fiction. Only participating community members have that right.
OK...uhh so I saw a romance video about Fem Ryder and Suvi chatting and well...I guess I'm saying should i put the video on here and omg it's awkward. Can i?
It's almost like the game is self aware. His mouth being the only thing that's moving, while the rest of his body looks like it's frozen in place is just icing on the cake.
I will say this for Mass Effect: Andromeda ....It makes Telltale's problems with ANF look like a minor glitch lol. I am sure after major patches to the animation...that it will be a good game...but wow.
AAA franchise handed over to new developer with high expectations among those who are blinded by fanboyism and take games too seriously.
Disappointing early impressions and mocking gifs and videos making the game look like a low budget steam asset flip.
Mass Effect Superfan Defense Force assembles.
False news story created about how sexy cosplayer gamer girl is totally responsible for all the bad things in your highly anticipated game.
Childlike, immature, imbecilic faction of defense force (and the internet's existing dumpster fire of MRA idiots looking to attack any woman) assumes gamer girl got the job because of her sexy cosplayer woman status and clearly knows nothing about animation or game development, also assumes that one person can be fully responsible for thousands of hours of work and planning.
Childlike defense force concludes that all bets are off on making woman target's life miserable because it will somehow give purpose to their empty lives.
What a shitty situation. What site or who caused her to have the target on her back? They really deserve a lot of blame too
While that is true, in all honestly I see this as a reason many gamers tend to stay away from the BioWare community or why some other communities in the gaming community don't speak of them in a less than positive light. It's just unfortunate that these asshats are the loudest.
But she did say that she was the lead facial animations artist on the twitter? So that means she was laying and in that case I feel no sympathies. I guess a lot of people got tricked to spend 60 or 70$ for this game (I think it goes up to 140$ with some special edition) and now feel cheated. This isn't unique to gaming. Films and TV shows get this kinda stuff too. In the end the best way to hurt EA is just not to preorder the game and not to buy it if the reviews and footage from reviewers shows that is a crap game and it in this case it is.
So... The game is shit because the animation and dialogue aren't very good?
Last time I checked, we PLAYED games, not watched a movie.
Oh wait, this is modern TTG.
Did that hit a little too close to home for some of you fans?
All these comments about how terrible it is and how no one should buy it, etc. No one talks about the actual gameplay. Am I the only one whom cares about how the game plays? From what I've heard, that was the positive part of all the reviews.
There. That's it from me til Tuesday, when I'll actually play the game and say how I feel about it.
Well the Point with Telltale is pretty much The game being an Immersive story while Mass Effect while having a little bit of choice making ((Paragon, Renegade)) Has alot of Focus on Story and Gameplay compared to Telltale which makes mostly Only Choice games with the focus being Mostly on the story.

Many people who played the early access trial said that it was either good or better than expected. From what I've heard the weird animation and bugs don't appear much, and yes, the gameplay is one of the biggest highlights. The only (unfortunate) consistency is the blank faces.

Sweetheart, did you even look at the first screenshot? Her Twitter bio says "lead facial animator for Mass Effect Andromeda" verbatim. It's literally right there. Either BioWare is covering her ass for whatever reason or she lied and deleted the claim after getting caught.
I know I said that was it, but I'd like to re-iterate that I have no problem with being critical about a game and if I feel differently once I get my hands on it, I'll shit on it like everyone else. Immersion is a big part of a fantasy game for me and if the dialogue and animation do ruin that, I'll let everyone know and hop right on that bus. The minimal unlocked story right now isn't enough to go on for me. Other games have had some really odd stuff that pulled me out of that immersion just to pull me back in with a solid hook later on. I'm willing to give the game that chance.
Hard to play through a STORY BASED GAME when you can't get immersed into it while talking to literally any character. I don't know about you, but when I play a game series like MASS EFFECT which is known for its STORY not combat, I want to not cringe when I look at and hear people speak.

Well Mass Effect was never about gameplay originally, first Mass Effect had some pretty bad combat actually, but the game really shined when it came to the story and characters. If the story is bad and the animations / voice acting / ugly character models destroy immersion then we have a problem. Also Mass Effect 1 and 2 gad more endings than any TTG game, that is more then 1 ending, so the coice was always something more important than in TTG games TTG is still fine as long as the story is good I can live with false choice (like in say first TWD season or TWAU and TFTB).

8:37: "Yeah, my father's dead. What, you wanna fight about it? Big fuckin' whoop."
This is priceless.
Looks like I won't be playing this game any sooner.
Mass Effect Andromeda? More like.....Face Effect Animation.
Ba dum tss
I'm not sure how often people experienced those glitches, I've never experienced a single bug with the animations in Mass Effect 1 but in comparison, allot of people have been experiencing allot of animation glitches with Mass Effect: Andromeda.

Very experienced
How do these translate to bad facial animations?
Why pre order? Pet Pyjak!
I don't think they were glitches, considering the fact that they have no plans to fix it right now.
Of course Polygon and Kotaku make manipulative articles lying about the animator, I can't stand those websites, they just keep lying to people constantly.

That piece of shit Manveer Heir was finally fired. Good.

Really? That's... good news, I guess...
Eh, I'd rather have a varren.
I can't believe how bad this looks. Seriously, how could they fuck it up this badly.

Well apparently you just reposted a false fact. Check your sources.
Ok things are definitely going out of control...here is a video to put things in perspective.
Salarian hears awfull dialoge: Kill me now

Every time I come to visit this thread, I see more embarrassing and cringy stuff from the game.
But I gotta admit, I do get some strong kicks from watching them.

In reply to stupid fuckers like
Which is probably why most people view gamers as losers, or that gaming is just a hobby for kids.
Guy was very openly racist on Twitter and used to work for BioWare, that's pretty much all you need to know.
