*Izetta the last witch: Drama/Action
Pretty good alternate history of WWII involving a two girls. One of which has magical abilities.
Drifters: Action. Various historical warriors are pulled into a new world and fight in a war.
Flip Flappers: Comedy/Surreal. Two girls go on crazy adventures in a weird dimension. (Think adventure time meets humanity has declined and you'll have a rough estimate)
Magical Girls Raising Project: Drama/Action/Survival. 16 magical girls are put into a battle royale
Bloodivores: Action/Drama/Survival. Convicts (some of whom have blood magic) are brought to a strange place with monsters.
Ajin: Drama. Immortal People with the ability to summon a ghost, are being hunted by the government. Season 2 just started.
RWBY: Comedy/Action/Drama. Follows four monster hunters in training. Season 4 just started.
Not gonna spoil too much just watch it! But skip episode 1-4 of season 1 as they are very boring (and creepy)
No, just no. He needs … moreto watch them anyway, how can you start watching something from the 5 episode? They have to introduce the characters in the first couple of episodes, so of course it's going to be a bit boring.
Season 2 was way more intense in terms of dialouge and drama tho.
Too bad the story didn't make much sense, it was full of fanservice (cough Hannah cough) and the ending was the biggest bs ever. But hey, at least the soundtrack was good.

Officially finished Youjo Senki Saga of Tanya the Evil Episode 12. Anime officially over. Possibility of a 2nd Season likely high, and my gosh I hope so.
I can say it's like taking Harry Potter, combing it with Der Rote Baron (2008) and slapped Goodfellas sense of morality, into a WWI like setting with no real concept of "good vs evil." ie it isn't about defeating the bad guys, but winning a war against the enemy. With the main character being a morally bankrupt Psychopath leading soldiers in the field of battle. So ya... I loved almost every minute of it. Calling the anime good to me is an understatement. So I can but highly recommend it. They even add random scenes at the end of credits just to catch viewers off guards with some extra special content, and not every episode has these post credit conclusions to the episodes. lol
Fits the mood perfectly. Love the chilling end to this preview actually.
I liked that it ended the storyline, sure there's stuff they could go into in a season 2 but the major story that was built at the start ended and even if it doesn't continue I am satisfied, I feel like anime has the problem of either never ending, or being cancelled before the story is finished so I really appreciate when one ends well.
Ye. Episode one already made me cry like a bitch, even though I read the manga and knew what'll happen. I feel like this seson is going to be great. Too bad it's only going to have 12 episodes.

It felt like 2 minutes. And the fact that I finished the first season + OVAS in a week, half a year ago, doesn't help.
I even thought of … morereading the mang but...it's just different watching it animated. I don't know... ;w;
Season 3 better come ASAP. It's one of my favourite things ever, the suspense, the feels and the chills.
I have the feeling that season 3 should not be too far away after season 2. I surmise that they're just putting these 12 episodes out to keep everyone interested and hyped a while longer while they work more (I don't have any actual evidence for this, but it is what I theorise, anyway).
As a reader of the manga, I can tell you now that there is definitely more than enough material for a full 25 episode long season like the first.

It's been like 4 years, right? Apparently they don't have enough staff or something. Sigh.
I've heard about some Politics Arc (idk I forgot how it really is called) and I even spoiled myself a bit but I'll keep telling myself it's all a joke like always.

The lack of staff is a trend pointed out by Thomas Romain. As a result of online streaming, studios earn less money. Less money means a lower budget, which in turn means lower staff. It is likely a contributing factor, as well.

What do you mean by "keep telling myself it's all a joke"?

It's glorious. It reminds me why I got into anime to begin with. Anime isn't that old yet and people are finding plenty of references. Being I found a bunch myself including a reference to the Warsaw uprising of 1944.
I personally recommend Attack on Titan, Cowboy Bebop, Inuyasha, Fruits Basket, Toradora, Ouran High School Host Club, Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040, Death Note, Parasyte, Tokyo Ghoul & Elfen Lied.
Edit: Fixed grammar issues & added more anime to the list.
Only turn off is just how insanely long it is, but at least it's a "Long" OVA meaning it isn't exactly a TV series, but a straight to video high budget for it's day production. Always heard great things about LOTGH, just never bothered to watch it myself.

I just watched Death Parade a month ago hits you in the feels pretty hard and makes some pretty believable characters.

The last 2 episodes were especially fantastic. So many tears.

And yes, that ending was a feels fest.
I just finished watching first episode of Season 2 of Attack on Titan. It was actually pretty good. The new opening is awesome.

Yes. When adapted properly, you almost feel like you are watching it for the first time again.
Speaking of which, that last bit - that was difficult to watch even with the foreknowledge of the manga.
shudder
You definitely should read the manga, it's really good. ^^
And yeah, Season 3 is very likely at this point. I'd be suprised if they didn't make it.
Movies These are staples of anime you should have seen this or heard of them at least.
