How can I play Telltale games with a Controller on PC? Dualshock 4, XB1, XB360, Dualshock 3. w/ idea

So, if Telltale is looking at this message, please implement one of these ideas i've given.

I was thinking, games from Telltale Games (such as Batman, Minecraft: Story Mode, etc), can it be playable with a controller? If so, how? If not, please implement these settings in other "Point & Click" Adventure games, I really like them, and I like to experience them with just a controller such as Dualshock 4, Xbox one, Xbox 360, or Dualshock 3 controllers. Games that are in console are obviously playable with controller, so why not in PC aswell?

THIS IS JUST AN IDEA!!

IF it has implemented, my idea for the settings should be like this:

Step 1: Connect the controller.
Step 2: Check the settings if the controller is connected (Windows 10 can identify Xbox one controllers fast).
Step 3: Launch the game (if you haven't).
Step 4: Once in the game, go to settings.
Step 5: Click on Controllers
Step 6: Click on one of the controllers that have been detected and check its settings if the controller is ready to go.
Step 7: It should be playable with a controller.

Literally just plug it in and play (for xbox controllers)

  • What YerMothersOnion said, you can just plug your Xbox controller into your computer and it should work. No idea if it works the same for PlayStation controllers, I can't imagine it would be that much different.

  • Is the Xbox One controlle support in Windows 10 fixed yet? Last I heard, it still wasn't.

  • You can already do it. I use a XBox One Controller on Windows 10 and it works perfectly fine. Just plug&play really.

  • I would have no knowledge, I use a 360 controller.
