I know people say to never believe the wiki but under trivia its been confirmed that Kate is returning as the actress who … moreplays her had nearly finished her lines for TWD. It also states that whether she appears/speaks in physical appearance or just in a flashback is currently unknown.
In my opinion however, if Kate is dead then the choice regarding whether you want to be with her or not is completely pointless. Why have that choice then kill her off in the first few moments of the finale?
Well it kind of determines Javi's relationship with her. I imagine in episode 5 there's some dialogue regarding that. It'd also be a massive blow to Javi.

Wait... If there is a sex rating for the episode... and Kate is clearly too injured to do anything with Javy/David... And Tripp is determinate... then...
Well, I only dislike the infinite ammo to shoot down thousands of zombies. A more realistic approach would be a lot better. I want to give it a chance tho, since it reminded me a lot of The Last of Us, in terms of setting and atmosphere.
