That guy must be from an alternate universe or something, ANF is not Clem's adventures.
This Clem advertising gets my blood boiling. They… more want to have a new protagonist so newcomers can start at this season(like there is any newcomers in the first place) but yet never show him in the promotional stuff.
I want to choke the person who is doing all this shit.
I know! It bothers the crap out of me how Clementine is front and center for most of the propaganda and all of the tweets are like check out Clementine! Where will her story go next! We have made a very smart move and created more possibilities with her now that you are not in control of her! Check out the next episode where Clementine's arc is 10% of the focus! WOO HOO CLEEEEEMEEEEENTIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINE! And yet the game isn't even about her! And she isn't even the character with the second most screen time! I would have been able to get over it if they were open about her being a side character and spent time on getting you to care about Javier and his family before the intense events started.
It's not, a mixed score on steam is anything but "really good". Compare this to it's predecessors that never dropped that low when they were being released. ANF is disappointing people, and they definitely aren't a minority.
That "Cuban handsome guy"? I'm glad that's enough reason to be happy you play as him, but the terrible writing and horrid way they handled him compared to a more realistic person like Lee is a sore disappointment, and frankly it's completely idiotic to say that someone is a good protagonist because he's a cute Cuban approaching 30 with a teenagers beard and ignoring the actual way they've handled the character. But go you. I hope you actually meet some Hispanics some day, you seem really enamored by the false perception of us.
Oh MY GAWD!!! Sick picture!
Clem what are you doing?! You are too young! Don't hold Javi... there or he won't focus on driving.
Rodrik is just few meters behind.
Damn. Kate is ugly.
Just replayed episode 4 with different choices and played the second Jane flashback. Damn, that was really good. It reminded me how much I love playing as Clementine
It kind of felt like what the Walking Dead used to be. Although episode 4 did feel a lot like the other games to me, playing as Clementine for a decent amount of time really gave that "Walking Dead" vibe again. Could also be the fact that you actually fight a walker in it instead of armed soldiers like in the main game.
Out of nowhere, BOOM... ANF gets deleted from your playable device and gets replaced with the long-anticipated Season 3, with 6 full episodes each lasting 120 minutes!
Expect Intrigue, large walker hordes, and limb amputation... ooohhh.
Looking back it does look confusing and to be honest i was trying to watch TV at the same time as typing that which ruined my concentration so i'll write it again below.
So far i feel Clementine's story hasn't been as interesting as it could have been, she isn't involved anywhere near as much as i would like her to be so i would like her story of finding AJ in ANF to end is a satisfying way and not "we found AJ, goodbye" * game ends *.
I would also want her story to end in a way open way where we could see her again in the future and her reunion with AJ to be emotional but i worry that if we do see her in a sequel after ANF that they could kill her or ruin her story.
Also re Javier's story i don't feel that attached to any of the Garica's so i wouldn't be too sad if they died but at the same time i don't want the game to end in a boring cliche way, if they can somehow make me feel emotion towards them if anyone dies (and after seeing Kate in the teaser image i think she could) then i would feel satisfied.
So, you want Clementine's story to end in order to focus more on Javier's family, the story that is the focus of the current season and what you call "mostly lacklustre so far"?
It makes no sense for me tbh

Can people just... not?
First of all, Javier is an adult and Clementine is a teenager. Javi has not been shown to be a pedo, in fact can be attracted to Kate, so he would have no reaction.
Second of all, either Javier has a remarkably large dick, or Clementine's hand isn't even close to it.

It's probably cause they realised that there are absolutely no newcomers, and are trying to scoop up anyone who just passed the season cause Clem wasn't playable. I don't know what brain dead business advice they're getting, but aren't you suppose to cater to the customers you already have and try not to lose them all?

Instead of pulling something like ANF, I'd have made a proper Season Three, picking up where Season Two left, would've given Jane, Edith (Wellington) and Kenny good 2-3 episodes and sent them off/killed them off, depending, and would've put all 3 games in one bundle for $40-50 to pull current customers and animate new customers to buy and play ALL my TWD games, to get them invested into the series and have them available as further future customers for an eventual Season Four.
Edit: See, I gave better advice than whatever CEO, CTO, WhateverO or PR gave them.

Just, uhh, trying to point out as much as I can in the key art.
It seems that the building to the right (behind the truck) seems to be Eleanor's apartment, just going by how it looks. Also could be where they got the weapons from...
Though it could be literally any other building in Richmond.
Also, could it be possible that in the picture, Kate is a walker, but she's been badly burned (explaining the skin and red eyes). But her eyes look more human-ish than a walker because she only just turned? I don't know. Is it possible that it's not even Kate...? Could just be a look-alike...

We can only hope Telltale's learned their lesson from this fiasco, so if season four ever happens, Clementine will be promoted back to the position of full-time protagonist.
Javier was an interesting experiment, but ultimately a failed one.

Ok he wasn't selling her for a sex slave lmao smh why you always have to lie about what the situation is. The situation is he wanted to trade with the TNF by using a member of TNF as a hostage to help a shot woman who is about to die at any second.
And to think: There were people in this forum who complained about playing as a little girl when Clem was first announced as season 2's protagonist. How far we've come.
I think it would be interesting if Telltale made Kate a zombie or alive based on our decisions of rejecting her or returning her feelings. I… moref you reject her, she's dead & if you shared her feelings, she's alive with serious burn damage. Or they could do the whole switch of choices where people who rejected her get her alive in their game whereas people who wanted to be with her get a zombie Kate. I'm 99.9% sure this won't happen, but I thought it would be a unique way to implement our choices.

The fans have caught on. Making a character determinant is just as bad as actually killing them. The court's still out on Rodrik/Asher, but if Clem becomes determinant, I'm bailing.

A person with burn injuries looks a lot different than that. Her hair (head, eyebrows) is completely fine and skin doesn't just turn grey like that. Her appearance hints that she is in the process of turning into a walker, most likely after a bite. Lee looked that grey as well, when he said goodbye to Clem.

Oh yeah...Fuck yeah...Hell yeah...
Just wait for it
Clem approves.

A little meme I created because this is pretty much how I feel about the whole Playable situation between Clem and Javier
Truer words have never been spoken
I know man, I was just being sarcastic since other people seem to really think the game is on par with what we've previously played.

Nah, I think episode 4 still feels like it's been very much severed from that vibe. Other than that, point well taken

Only Save Slot 1 gets credited to the overall statistic. No matter how often you replay Save Slot 1, it'll get overwritten every time.
Season 3?
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF.....FUUUUU.

Oh, yeah. It's clearly some random walker they wanted put in to fill 1/3 of the the keyart that just coincidentally happens to look exactly like her

Nice, only me and the other 89% of players slaughtered the child trafficker.
Dude, can you not make me laugh XD

Seven hours episode, here we go!
shouldnt the caption be updated since the trailers coming out this week?
It should, thank you for the reminder
And to think: There were people in this forum who complained about playing as a little girl when Clem was first announced as season 2's protagonist. How far we've come.
Maybe she blames Javi for what happened to her if you reject her and tries to kill him?
I'm glad to say I was never one of them
I hope theresa choice between to save clem or gabe and i want gabe to DIE!!!
God no, please. We all know what happens to determinant characters.
Yeah, you're right. They better make it to where just Gabe survives instead.
The fans have caught on. Making a character determinant is just as bad as actually killing them. The court's still out on Rodrik/Asher, but if Clem becomes determinant, I'm bailing.
Honestly I think Telltale redeemed themselves with Conrad

Do you really think he gave a shit about Kate? He only cared for revenge, he was trying to convince Javi.
Redeemed the determinant character concept or redeemed as a whole?
