Are people really doing that? like, specific names and stuff? or are you referring to comments about "the writers are bad/dont know what theyre doing?"

Just a friendly reminder, please avoid making personal comments about staff who worked on the game. Comments about your opinions of the game's quality are fine, but please don't drag staff into it.

  • Be thankful you didn't see the disgusting attitude towards Brad Kane that used to happen a lot.

  • How exactly is it the best Walking Dead story ever told compared to what came before?

Sounds like you just agree because you want your opinion to feel validated.

A little hesitant to admit this but I agree with that quote in the trailer everyone keeps complaining about...

  • If you're expecting a whole paragraph explaining why I feel this way you're going to be disappointed. I'm simply more entertained and invested in this season than I was seasons 1 & 2.

What the hell does that even mean? My opinion doesn't need validation. Seems to me that you're just saying this because you don't want to believe that someone disagrees with you.

Oh, I believe you disagree. I'm just calling like it is when you just can't seem to come to terms with the fact that what you love is widely regarded as a huge disappointment for the majority and so desperately want something to use as validation for liking ANF.

Can we cut out this "people post positive/negative opinions of the game to feel validated" stuff?

  • It never seems to go away and it's happening a lot and ANF fans are acting as though these "positive" threads aren't just some form of validating their opinions. It's just dishonest to me.

  • Oh they did. Well if hey have said that then there is a much bigger chance of it coming back.

Telltale flat out said they haven't forgotten about the hat

  • That's such crap! No matter where you go there's fucking endless hate anywhere and you get passive aggressive shit if you post anything remotely positive so people want to spread a little positivity and if I'm honest those threads feel like the only place it's safe to say that you like the game.

I think ANF is a C at best. And its extremely flawed. But I also think it's important to recognize what it does well for future installments. Even though I think it's a C, I love it. There's no form of validation involved in instances such as that.

Oh man I just stumbled across this and man, Telltale should have found a way to put this scrapped audio in one of the Jane flashbacks.

  • Well, considering that was taken from the episode 5 trailer, I wonder how Gabe could have gotten that gash...

is it another foreshadowing? or maybe it's not that important at all?

why "you're welcome?" is there something more to it than that?

  • Wait for the Season Finale.

What are you going to do before the Season Finale? FE: I'm going to watch all the trailers from Season 1 to ANF.

  • So... no Slaughterhouse. That's not the scene we need, it's the scene we deserve. Too bad it got cut out, much like the rest of the interesting ideas.

  • This is admittedly pretty funny. Hammers in the idea that Jane is a Shadowy distaff of Luke, though.

When GQ says Walking Dead ANF is easily the best Walking Dead Story...

  • A few more days and this trash is finally finished, that said i thought the same about minecraft but then they surprised us with 3 more episodes that required more money if you actually wanted to finish the story

  • Bringing staff into it is pathetic is what it is -.-

It might mean the video game series compared to the comics/tv series. It is all linked to the same story so it makes the most sense.

  • When I found out about this I added it as a head canon conversation that took place after the scenes changed from being at the memorial to looking for Sarah, Nick and Luke

I checked several French websites ('cuz I'm French) about the Episode 5 trailer and, man, no one cares. Same for you people?

I know it's easy to shit on Telltale's formula nowadays but the lack of attention their games are getting is really worrying as it is still decreasing (GotG is barely at 25K on Steam according to Steamdb), especially when it comes to what used to be their huge #1 franchise.

Telltale really need to get their shit together.

Positivity threads or "Am I the only one who actually likes this season?" Threads only really crop up when a Telltale series is suffering from major backlash and so that leads to the minority to make threads really just dedicated to just shouting out their, "I love this because..." and there's nothing wrong with stating a positive opinion but it feels less like a genuine opinion and more so, "I don't like how this series is getting so much hate, so I must spread some superficial positivity to make my opinion feel validated."

I've done this in the past and it's not something I look very fondly on now.

  • This season would have been a masterpiece if Gabe was never created in the first place. Let's not forget that, before the rewrittings, Gabe didn't exist.

It's ya boy Rick Grimes in the tank JK it's not Rick Cross my fingers hope its Gabe

Same happens in Spanish websites. I can't say I'm worried about them though. They are progressively digging their own grave by not listening to their fanbase and calling us a "minority". They decide if they want to stay on this path or listening to their customers, for once.

I'm pretty sure Gabe was always supposed to be there, the first time we saw him in a screenshot was July 21st last year when Telltale did a panel at San Diego Comic Con.

Edit: Here is the news article with the first screenshot of Gabe.

  • Let me do something unprecedented on these forums... Let me ask why exactly it is you find this season is superior over the other one's.

I'd certainly agree that it's slightly better, at least to a noticeable enough degree, than the absolute trash season 2 turned out to be. But am genuinely curious as to what exactly brings you in particular so much infatuation with the season thus far.

No shred of sarcasm or anything, just a legitimate question. Why is this season better than S1 and S2?

    AgentZ46 posted: »

I know, it's so hard to grasp how anyone can have an opinion that you disagree with that the only way to cope is to post annoying memes/gifs.

  • Outside this forum, there's Twitter where obviously people tease one another, but this is kinda what's Twitter all about. Other than that there's Facebook where TT isn't that popular - about 2 thousand views on their latest video, which is nothing compared to 2013/14 Youtube or tumblr.

The majority of fans are here, and they keep finding their way to reach these forums, so the number is constantly growing (I see new usernames almost every day). it's fair to say that TT forums represent the huge amount of players and if TT says there are not they are blatantly lying to themselves, as they did when ANF received tons of hate and they basically told us off.

  • Nothing specifically that I feel was done better I just feel more interested and invested in this story. I will say that with this season I actually feel like I'm (Javi) part of the story. Let me explain, I loved season 2 but I have to admit that I (Clem) didn't feel important to the plot. It felt like it was the Cabin's group story and I was just tagging along until episode 4. That may have been intentional though. Looking at ANF it feels like Javi is important, that he's part of the struggle, that might be because of David's role in the story making it more personal.

Like I said I don't have anything specific to add. I just care more about the characters in this season and I'm more invested in the season.

Let me do something unprecedented on these forums... Let me ask why exactly it is you find this season is superior over the other one's.

  • I wonder where did all the hypes, enthusiasm and positivity from the first 10 pages of this thread go...?

    Is it all gone now..?
