Will you buy Minecraft Story Mode: Season 2?
(Please don't move this thread to the Minecraft section because of course the people there will buy it, I want to ask everyone.)
So now that we all know the second season of Minecraft is a thing I'm curious how many of you will actually buy it. Personally one season of Minecraft was enough for me, I lost interest after episode 5.

I probably wont. The first season wasn't bad but I found it too corny and simplistic.
I might pick it up if I'm bored and it's free like how the first Minecraft was.
Yeah, I actually did enjoy the first season, although its DLC and Ivor were probably the highlights.
I am super mixed. I do feel slightly interested with buying the game, mostly because I want to keep roleplaying Jesse and because I love Ashley Johnson and her voice. But on the other hand, considering how Telltale seems to prioritized this game over GoT S2 which I and other players have been waiting a long time for, my mixed opinion on ANF and how buying Minecraft S2 would mean that I am supporting their current stance, makes me hesitate to buy this game.
I don't hate Telltale or the Staff. I love those who are on this forum. I just dislike their current way of making their games and considering how our words has fallen on deaf ears, the only way that I can make them listen is to stop buying their games.
This is just my opinion
Yeah, sure why not. The first season was a lot of fun and DLC was surprisingly top notch. I'm willing to give every telltale series a purchase and story mode is definitely no exception.
I will as I enjoyed the first season kind of wish they waited longer to do it though. Also I'm very skeptical because the news post said new comers can jump straight in which was one of the biggest problems with ANF. Let's just hope big characters are not forgotten don't want Lucas to hang himself because the ocelots won't accept him.
I already pre-purchased it on steam.
Wasn't the biggest fan of the first game. So unless it goes an Ouija: Origin of Evil route, then probably not.
same
This may be the first Telltale game I don't buy, honestly.
I wanna keep what little dignity I have left.
XD, what an ingenious and funny answer!
I'm going to buy the game because I love MCSM, but this was very funny!
Only if my choices from the first 8 episodes have an effect on this season.
No. I had no interest in the first game, which probably isn't that bad, but I have no interest in it. I'm no longer pre-purchasing all of Telltale's games anymore and there is nothing that warrants it, plus the quality has been noticeably lower (even though I did enjoy ANF for the most part).
I don't recall complaining that much about the long months waiting for each episode, I much preferred that to getting all these mediocre games in quick succession.
I still love Telltale, just not that much right now haha.
Yeah, I will be. I thought I wouldn't like MCSM Season 1 because well it's more ment for kids and well it's Minecraft (not saying Minecraft is a bad game, I play it) so I thought it wouldn't be as intense as other Telltale games. But I bought it anyways and I loved it. Wouldn't say its near the best TTG I've played but it's still high behind TFTBL and GOT. IMO it's better then ANF and at some points Walking Dead Season 2. Also I played The Wolf Among Us but it never really hooked me.
But yeah, I will be buying MCSM Season 2, just because Season 1 actually surprised me on how much I liked many things about it. Also I saw that my choices will effect Season 2 in some way, and I want to see the answers to some questions I have and the continuation of all the characters stories.
Yes! I loved the first season and I'm totally going to buy the second!
I'm just a little disappointed that they put youtubers in the game, and also because "newcomers can jump with no problems"
I hope my choices in season one affect in season two...
I will buy E1 if I don't like it I won't buy the rest of the season
i'll buy it when telltale remakes anf but good
Yeah, I'm buying it. I might be a little old for it but found the first season and DLC enjoyable, and the lead writer and staff who work on the game are seriously sweethearts.
@prink34320 "Your choices from season 1 will carry over to season 2." So, that's a yes.
I might pre purchase it on steam for my b-day which is in a few days. And that's a biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig might.
Nah. I'm simply just not interested in it whatsoever. I hope it's good for those who are interested, cause I'd hate for even more of Telltale's audience being left with a sour taste in their mouth following a bad sequel.
lol holy shit
you must be new to telltale
No way. No shenanigans. I liked the first season but with the second season coming out sooner than we thought, I'm now realising this franchise was a cash cow to begin with.
In other words my answer was a no
Yeah... they said the same about The Walking Dead Season 2 and A New Frontier and it barely seemed that way, so I'll hold my breath
Yep it will be enjoyable for me and my kid
I mean, it being based on Minecraft was an early giveaway.
I've played MCSM since it came out, but since the hate on ANF from the "jump in at anytime and catch up with other people" or other crap, im not sure if i want to choose choices for season 2 because i had MCSM on Xbox One and im getting season 2 on steam.
Edit: I've checked the news so here's what it says: Your choices from season one will carry over, but newcomers will be able to jump in no problem. This season also includes our ‘Crowd Play’ feature, which lets your friends and family play along with you by voting on story choices from their mobile phones.
No. Not interested.
nope
Ocz,
Maybe on a discount/sale, well if I'll be that bored that is. As for now, no way I'm buying.
no
That actually means no.
I am very excited for it. However I can understand how you can can get bored after the main story is finished.
