Me personally, I'm into stuff like Radiohead and Pink Floyd.
I listen to tons of music and do not limit myself to certain genres. As long as I like a specific song, I'll listen to it, the genre doesn't matter at all. Most songs that I listen to are pop, rock and soundtracks (movie/tv-show/videogames) tho.
Oh and there are way too many artists that I love. A few of my favorites would be Jeremy Zuckerman, Jessie J, Sia, Sara Bareilles, Paramore, Linkin Park, Coldplay, The Fray, Disney, Eminem, Ed Sheeran, Gorillaz, Michael Jackson, Pink, Vince Kidd, Georgia Merry, Bruno Mars, Demi Lovato and many more.
Some of my favorite bands are Metallica (duh), Avenged Sevenfold, Iron Maiden, Sabaton, Aerosmith, Black Sabbath, Billy Joel, Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax, Volbeat, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Five Finger Death Punch, Pantera (after Phil joined), Pink Floyd, Havok, Lamb of God, Trivium, and Amon Amarth. I have other bands, but these are the big ones I like.
I love Avenged Sevenfold.
I really like folk-Indie music. A Radical Face, Iron and Wine, Gregory Alan Isakov style. Guitar and violin are my favourite instruments and this genre has a lot of both.
^^
Rock mostly; bands like:
Papa Roach, Seether, Staind, Shinedown, Halestorm, Sixx A.M., Three Days Grace.
Some metal too like: a7x, ffdp, Korn, Disturbed.
Ramones
Sex Pistols
Talking Heads
Nirvana
A-ha
Slipknot
Steve Miller Band
I generally listen to 80s synthpop since it puts me in a good mood. Carly Rae Jepsen's E-MO-TION, is one of my favorite pop albums that I listen on repeat sometimes.
But if I don't feel like listening to synthpop, I tend to move other genres like Alternative or Rock.
Hipster stuff mainly, like indie-folk and indie-rock. I really love guitars, deep lyrics and sensuous voices.
Favorite bands and singers: Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Mumford and Sons, Wye Oak, Alt-J, Radical Face, Matthew and the Atlas, The Killers, Feist, City and Color, Gorillaz, First Aid Kit, Anadel.
RADICAL FACE FUCKING ROCKS GOD OF MUSIC WOWOWOWOWOWOWOWWOO
I mostly listen to genre's like Indie Pop, Folk Rock, Indie Rock, Alternative Rock, Classic Rock, and some Pop music. I absolutely abhor Rap music (it sounds like garbage to me).
The artists/bands I usually listen to are: Vance Joy, The Lumineers, Passenger, Ed Sheeran, OneRepublic, James Bay, The Script, Mumford and Sons, Billy Joel, The Rolling Stones, Queen, AC/DC, Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, etc.
My favorite song would have to be Angela by The Lumineers.
George Michael
Billy Joel is the shit. 'Running on Ice' is what inspired me to learn piano.
I like listening to relaxing and beautiful music. The music that makes you think about life and shit.
I usually listen to this type of music music while watching the sun rise in the morning.
Really love the Silent Hill soundtracks with Akira Yamaoka and Mary Elizabeth McGlynn:
Im really loving the current trend of mixing electronic and metal elements at the moment, its by no means a new idea but I like the current execution.
The Browning is by far my favorite band right now I just got all their albums on good old fashion cd something I haven't done for a while.
Oh, I love this song so much!
Angela, best song ever.
Halestorm. Lzzy Hale is my favourite female-fronted singer because I believe she is vocally most dynamic, and is a suitable role-model.
Yes, Halestorm!
Tell me about it; I just love it so damn much.
You listen to The Lumineers too? Yeah, their songs are pretty relaxing to listen to in the background. Have you heard of The Antlers? They have kinda a similar vibe to some of the bands you listed such as Lumineers.
I dabble here and there in various genres. I don't really have a favorite band or group.
Any music that sounds anything like The Lumineers automatically means I'll love it. I haven't heard of this band before, but it sounds pretty promising with what I hear so far; obviously, The Lumineers are much better IMO.
I like a bit of everything but I mainly listen to indie-folk and I suppose pop-folk
My favourite bands/Musicians:
The White Stripes, Mumford & Sons, Fever Ray, Bright Eyes/Connor Oberst, First Aid Kit, Arctic Monkeys, Of Monsters and Men, Green Day, M83
White Stripes? Nice!
A friend of mine never told people this, but I found a video of him jamming on YouTube with Metallica.
I guess a bit of everything.
But the bands/artists I mainly like are Arctic Monkeys, Green Day, First Aid Kit, Evanescence and Skillet.
wow copykitten

I discovered Synthwave a few years ago and wondered where it had been all my life. There are so many new artists that keep emerging with their own style. I like a lot of other genres but Synthwave really stands out for me.
Some of my favourite artists are: Carpenter Brut, Perturbator, Dance with the Dead, Le Matos, Kavinsky, Lazerhawk, Vulta and Turbolash.
That's only scratching the surface as well. Big fan of Synthpop bands such as Chvrches, M83 and Electric Youth too.
I like everything but my favorite band of all time is Days N' Daze.
Your friend is one lucky bastard.
Yeah, and isn't that some shit you share with everyone!?
Hell yeah it is. If I got to jam with Metallica, I would tell everyone I know and never stop bragging about it. Even here on the forums, I would do that.
This is what I've been listening to this morning. Why does Amy Lee's voice sound so much like Melissa Hutchison's voice? 0_0
Reminder: This is a playlist of 8 songs. Please browse through all of them.
If this is what Melissa Hutchison sounds like in the next installment of TWD.....

And don't get me started on Apocalyptica... I'll be back later.
