(HELP ME PLEASE) Incorrect password when correct

Hello,
On teltale's site, my password works while in the 2 GAMES for a few days, does not work any more: season 1 of Minecraft Story Mode and season 2, I want to play in season 2 with my data / choices!!! :(

  • Are you forgetting things like caps? If not you should change your passcode by clicking “forgot password” you can probably just switch it to the same thing again and see if that works.

  • Same issue. After resetting my password I still had issues, so I had to recreate my story from scratch rather than using my old save sadly.

  • Yeah I'm playing the Batman series on my Android phone and I'm trying to transfer the save on the cloud server in my tablet and I can't log in at all.

    I've changed the password and disabled caps lock and it keeps on saying incorrect password. For some reason, I'm able to log in via the web browser just fine. Please fix this asap TellTale.

  • Same thing for me, on ps4. I've put in a ticket 3 times so far. I've been trying to log in to my account for over a week. Obviously, my password works just fine and dandy on the site.

    I tried resetting my password to just simple letters, I tried deleting and redownloading the game, I tried unlinking, I've tried a wired connection, I'VE TRIED EVERY "FIX" THEY GAVE...

    I just want to play Walking Dead.

  • Yes this is happening to me on the Xbone with TWD A New Frontier I accidentally logged out and tried to log back in and the password is wrong every time even after changing it.

  • Ditto on PS4 TWD:ANF here. I really want to use my Steam save from Season Two which I already uploaded now without issues.
    I also accidentally logged out while looking at the options on my first boot up today and could not log back in no matter what, even after resetting password.

    Support replied fast to me an hour ago but it was just the same a-z 0-9 thing, which I obviously already did.
    They also said I can play without the save, but I know that already as well... I just refuse to play on a clean slate if I know I can have the option to play with my choices from the previous game.

    This really sucks - I´ve got the same issue on PC.

    Changed my PW at least 10 times now and even with only a-z and 0-9 it wont work.
    It works fine on the website though ..

    Dont want to use the generator as it isn´t based on choices but on preferences which isn´t really the same for me.

  • Hey, Steam user here. Just bought Minecraft Story Mode: Season 2 and I'm encountering the same problem as you, I tried resetting my password many times now but to no avail, I still can't log in. I can log in on the Telltale website of course, but none of the games, I tried Minecraft Story Mode Seasons 1 and 2 with no result. I'll try to make my way through Customer Support, hopefully they can provide a solution to this, I'll let everyone know if I do.

    Same problem here with Batman (actually I just opened a thread in the Batman forum). I changed my password multiple times and also tried to use a password like "mmmmmmmm" still does not work. No problem at all to log in here from the site and I also don't have a problem using the "forget password" function inside the game - so it'S not a connection issue.

    Great! I just tried to login with Game Of Thrones and it does not work either. So that game I cannot even play now. And people are wondering what's wrong with DRM!

    Thank you for contacting us. If you are unable to log in to your Telltale Games account in-game, please make sure that your Telltale Games account password only contains a-z, A-Z, and 0-9 characters. If you have any !, &, or other special characters, please change your password on our website, and you should then be able to log in successfully. We also recommend using a wired internet connection if you are able to use one.

    If you continue to have difficulty, please double check that you do not have any firewalls running on your modem or router that might be blocking your connection.

    If you are still unable to log into the game after trying the above steps, can you tell us the following information?
    Are you attempting to log in with your email address or with your username (if you have one)? Can you tell us the email address or username you are using to log in with? If you were using your username, please try logging in with your email address.
    Where are you changing your password? Are you using the in-game password reset link, or the website 'forgot password' reset link, or the 'Change Password' option in the Settings tab of your profile?
    Please also try changing your password using one of the other methods listed above. If that works, please let us know which method it was.

  • Damn, why does it look like it's being treated as an isolated incident each case if they have been receiving reports from several different people during the week...
    I already replied to my support message about all those details, but in regards to what they asked you in the last paragraph I tried all reset methods, both in-game and in the website. No difference...

    We should all just link them this thread, which is what I did in my last reply.
    Hoping it gets fixed in the next working days...

    Same problem here on xbox with The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Minecraft, ...
    Almost tried everything by now. I just wanted to play the third Season of The Walking Dead :P

    I hope they will fix it asap.

    I can see from other posts that this problem exists for over 3 weeks now, so i think nothing is going to happen.

    Obviously they don't care. I replied to my three mails (which all contained the exact same text "written" - better copy pasted - by the exact same person instantly after receiving them and I also linked to the several threads that are about this issue. All I got was no further reply. But why should they reply? They already have our money. Somebody should definitely sue them for such things.

  • THANK YOU. I had to search so many threads for this issue and this worked!! Ridiculous that tell tales change password feature from within one’s own account page does not work yet the “forgot password” link when one is NOT logged in does in fact work. These guys must have laid off their IT department for this laughable issue to persist all these months later lol.
