Not just that. It had terrible writing, terrible character development, choices from the previous seasons don't mean jack shit, short episodes and more cutscenes than gameplay.
yeah pretty much. if all of this was different (aka good video game) but javier was still the main character i'd probably fucking love ANF.
They didn't make Clem the main character.

Yeah how dare they make a sequel to a game i'm not into but other people are.
It's not that. It's just that they already release Season 2 for Minecraft Story Mode when not one year ago, the final episode of the first season was just released.
honestly saying it was michael bay is giving it too much credit because michael bay has made good films before. i'd lean closer to uwe boll at this point
Translation: They didn't make Clem the main character.
do you know what writing is? have you ever read a review/analysis of a video game? has someone ever even frowned at you before? because you're clearly living in some kind of magical wonderland where you think the only problem people have with with new frontier is that clementine isn't the protagonist, so i'd like to kindly ask that you step down into reality if you're going to rush into a conversation trying to convince other people they're wrong.
Yeah how dare they make a sequel to a game i'm not into but other people are.
when will people realize that this is not the problem? nobody gives a shit whether minecraft story mode gets another game or not, it's fucking fine and people who like it reserve the right to like it. the problem is that the final episode of minecraft story mode was released like 10 months ago, meanwhile wolf among us ended 3 years ago and both game of thrones and tales ended 2 years ago, and instead of getting the continuations people waited for fucking ever for, minecraft story mode gets a season 2 quite literally under a year after it finished.
it's so obviously a blatant cash grab whether people enjoy the games or not, and it is a VERY blatant "fuck you" to the telltale fans who have been waiting for 3 years just to see a continuation on some of the more beloved titles.
Rushing Season 3 of The Walking Dead

and making Minecraft Season 2 already.
Yeah how dare they make a sequel to a game i'm not into but other people are.

The only rushed episodes was Ep.4 and Ep.5.
Cough Cough Ties That Bind Cough Cough
Also, Episode 4 wasn't that bad. EP 3 and 4 are the only good episodes.
Telltale leaves most of their statements blurry for they cannot be held accountable; and a number of fans fail to realize what's happening, accidentally or not.
Not really. They're saying one thing, but making it vague enough so that it applies to every possibility, thereby making fans flock towards the most wanted option.
honestly saying it was michael bay is giving it too much credit because michael bay has made good films before. i'd lean closer to uwe boll at this point

honestly i didn't notice any of that "action and explosions" thing until episode 4. it happened beforehand sure but never on a michael bay level you know?

oh for sure, but when you write a plot like ANF's, action is kind of required to give any sort of rhyme or reason as to what the fuck is happening in the plot
I am having the same problem, Xbox 360. Digital download version. PAID for with my hard earned money and I can't read Spanish! So Telltale, fix it now or give me my fucking money back. Your games are okay at best, they are slow to respond to control prompts and full of glitches so way over priced. Before you start with your go to spiel, yes I have reset my console and started again, yes I have played it from the beginning again....And again. Even erased it and downloaded it all again and played it right through AGAIN! Now, fix it or cough up with compensation!
Am I the only one that views TWD, TWAU, TFTBL & GOT as the "core" games? Those were the games that I'd say defined the best part of Telltale's history. The problem with the "core fans" is that, unless Telltale state what they define as core, you're forced to decide for yourself what it means.
True, but the context in which it was stated matters. Right before "core telltale fans" was mentioned they were talking about their "mature series". That is obviously referring to TWD and TWAU. I'm not sure how one could dispute that their most popular games that got them to where they are now are not part of their "core series".
No dice. If there were licensing issues or whatever it may be preventing them from making more TWAU for example, then they should disclose that, but they don't gain anything from that. Not saying anything/teasing us every now only to play dumb when it doesn't happen... This is the most critical I have ever been towards Telltale, but I seriously think they are mistreating fans with this.

I was surprised when they outright stated a few days ago that Tales wouldn't be getting a second season anytime soon. It was refreshing to see that honesty. I hope they keep that in mind going forward.

Exactly what I use to say. I also felt the ending was ideal.. like it was suppose to be left open to your own interpretation. Every story that is a great classic does not automatically need a sequel. People only want to relive those pleasurable times when the first story was good except in different ways through a sequel but a sequel can never promise to even be on par let alone surpass the original. The only exception examples I ever saw to this principle was the Dark Knight and Spider-Man 2. Both of these movies rose above the first. It's tough to make two or three hits in a row. Unless your exploring the Avengers, Jurassic Park Game of Thrones etc...
To Be Honest i don't want a TWAU 2 reason is it will be SHIT. Just look at ANF complete and utter DogShit. If they did make a TWAU 2 everyone would Complain about CHOICES not mattering

Jokes aside, I too am disappointed at no imminent Wolf/Tales sequel. On the bright side, I hope this leads to more Telltale working with more IP so that we can eventually find the next Wolf/Tales/etc.
After all, if Telltale listened to people who only Telltale to focus on TWD sequels, we'd have never gotten Wolf. Or, if Telltale listened to people who wanted a Wolf sequel, we might have not gotten Tales.
Heck, The Walking Dead resulted in some fans feeling that Telltale was not listening to them when they wanted more comedy point and click adventure games.

(PS4)
Well said, sir.
(Steam).
huh. interesting. the sites i checked neglected to show me that info. my apologies.
Exactly.
It's all good. I don't know much about Steamspy, but I've heard their numbers are solid.
Telltale leaves most of their statements blurry for they cannot be held accountable; and a number of fans fail to realize what's happening, accidentally or not.
Important to note that it's not working.
I mention him only because he is the most famous fan of action and explosions.
It's unfortunate they go to such tactics to generate hype, but it mostly backfires and disappoints more people than it should.
I would have loved if they didn't cancel the "This is both Javier and Clementine's story" idea.
honestly i didn't notice any of that "action and explosions" thing until episode 4. it happened beforehand sure but never on a michael bay level you know?
I'll just say it had too much action.
i'll remember that then.

At least they fixed Kenny's beard.
Where and when can we expect to see this news this week?

amen to that
you're clearly not counting 50% of the core fanbase then.

Welp if that's the case I won't be here for their games anymore lol I will be here for the community because it's fun

It a dominant complaint that has colored most people's opinions of ANF around here. There is a clear heavy bias towards this season because of it.
I didn't read your post, but i gotta ask: weren't you banned?
can you just stop talking
Bad question, chum.
