I think a movie about saws is really silly, like what would the climax even be? Who am I kidding, they made a movie about a toaster before. I would personally want the main character to be a miter saw, because they honestly look a lot cooler, but I guess a jig saw is cool too.
Like, just look at how cool that is. It definitely makes for a better main character than a jig saw in my opinion.
In all seriousness, it totally seems like something to be interested in. I hadn't heard of plans for this movie, but I think I'll be seeing it.
I love the Saw movies, so I'll definitely go see it. I just hope it isn't as shitty as the seventh one (falsely moralistic and the special effects/3-D truly sucked).
The original Saw is one of my all time favorite films Saw 2 and 3 were solid (though not amazing) in their own right. After that ehhh stopped watching at Saw 5 where it got pretty bad, from what I've seen of this I'm not too interested, Tobin Bell just being a voice on a tape rather than actively being in the movie kinda takes away from these films.

Well I disliked it because of the horrible special effects (pink blood wtf), false morals and Bobby is probably the worst Saw player out of everyone else in the movies. Because one, it's his own fault he was in it to begin with, and two, he didn't save ANYONE. The one thing I liked about 7 was the ending.
What's your favorite Saw movie by the way? Mine is 6.

6 is my favorite because it basically puts all the puzzle pieces of the Saw story together. That Amanda was basically the reason John and Jill's child was a stillborn, that Hoffman was responsible for Amanda's death, and it basically gave proof (IMO) that Hoffman was making inescapable traps, not Amanda. Oh, and I loved William's game and the scene where Hoffman just killed all those cops after they found out he was the new Jigsaw.
My overall ranking of the movies is 6 > 1 > 2 > 3 > 4 >5 > 7.
IMO I think saw 1 is the best casue of the mystery of who jigsaw is and the twist at the end and dr.gordon and adam are my favourite players also I think john Kramer is the best jigsaw I know it had a small amount of money to make the film in one room makes it whole a lot cooler and them trying to work together to escape this bathroom IMO nothing beats a classic.

I love the Saw movies but the trailer of the new movie didn't interest me that much.
I don't understand the hate on 7. I thought it was pretty decent.

I think it's Saw 2 because it had such a great story and I loved the moments with John Kramer.
