Rhack ( Handsome Jack x Rhys ) - It's not an unpopular ship everywhere, but it sure is on this website. (TALES FROM THE BORDERLANDS SPOILERS)
An unhealthy and fascinating relationship build on admiration, manipulation and blended identity ( in more than one way ). Jack knew exactly what button to press to convince Rhys he could be everything he ever wanted to be ( which is Jack, minus the morally reprehensible actions ) and even at the very end it was difficult for Rhys to get rid of such an important part of his life. They were the most interesting dynamic in Tales from the borderlands as well as the most important for the story.

Personally I think Batman and Wonder Woman makes much more sense (I get it's because of Justice League TAS) and Lois and Clark is awesome too, but I did like the concept of them as a couple. The big problem lies in the difference of moral code. Diana's comfortable with killing, Clark (generally) isn't. I never complained about them together though.
I really enjoyed the Superman/Wonder Woman relationship during the New 52. I think a lot of the people who said that "it's too predictable" … moreand stuff along those lines didn't give their series a chance because the two were really good together in my opinion. Plus you have the die hard fans of Justice League TAS who want Batman and Wonder Woman to be together that complained a great deal about it, which again was unreasonable.

I like complex relationships that are worth reflecting upon and are already brillant in canon without making any change. They often have a lot to offer in a philosophical and psychological perspective. Healthy relationships can as well but it will mean that they too are unperfect ( like real life relationships ) in a more subtile way.
If anything I am surprised you decided to focus on age gap rather than literally...everything else. If you played Game of thrones game you would know that Rickard is not very good for Mira either, it doesn't mean she isn't old and mature enough to marry him. It doesn't stop me, because it's not because I find something interesting in a fictional universe ( characters and ships ) that I would wish I was in this kind of relationships or hanging out with these kind of people.
Therefore, my interests are not harming anybody in the real world...

Discord/Celestia (My Little Pony). This used to be quite popular before Fluttershy reformed Discord and now everyone ships these two. Sorry, but I like them much more as friends. Discord and Celestia have a great potential as a relationship as I can see some great chemistry between them. I really want to learn their backstory. What if they were actually together? Maybe something like that "Discordantly" fan comics? I have a feeling it would give them much more depth. Also I want Celestia to be happy.
Jasper/Lapis (Steven Universe). I know this is abusive but I'm a sucker for complicated and traumatic relationship. I have a feeling that Jasper isn't bad to the core, just very unhappy and broken. While Lapis despises her, maybe she could bring out the good in Jasper. I'd kill to see more interaction between these two and I certainly hope my precious cheetos puff will be back in the series.
