Rick and Morty S3 Episode 4

Better than Ep2 and 3 in my opinion. The "Rick cares about Morty" segment was a nice touch. Thoughts?

  • I thought it was great! They had a stacked cast this episode and the best part (in my opinion) was Logic's appearance.

I love how famous Rick and Morty is getting. Sooner or later, it'll be up there as one of the greatest comedic cartoons in history.

  • It's good entertainment, and it has more meaning to the overall story in the end in comparison to episode 2 and 3

But I still feel like the show is majorly overrated, people treat it more than a decent form of 20 minute entertainment

  • I think it was the weakest episode in the season so far to be honest. I don't know, I really didn't give a crap about any of the characters, none of them were very interesting or unique (though I guess that's the point, they're generic superheroes). The "Morty gets to take charge every 10 adventures" rule comes back into play, I'd say this is my least favorite Morty adventure. I like how adult swim hyped up Worldender only for Rick to kill him while shitfaced drunk and forget he did it.

That said, it was still a Rick and Morty episode so it made me laugh and it kept my interest.

  • Noob-Noob! (Rick and Morty Remix) In the words of Noon Noob?Goddamn!

  • Noob Noob! You're fuckin cool!

  • Didn't think I could hate Rick more than I have before, but then I saw this episode. At least the next episode has Jerry

  • Welcome to fandoms. Everything is philosophical and DEEP.

  • Def better than Ep 2 and 3, was finally a Rick and Morty adventure, and not some poorly written unfunny episode like 2 and half of ep 3.

  • God DAAAAAAAMN

  • I don't get the point of rating a TV show's episodes and comparing them to each other. They all serve the same purpose and they're not bad.

  • I think it was pretty weak. It didn't advance the situation with the kids dealing with the divorce, the jokes were not really funny and it was really derivative. Sure, "parody", what in the show isn't derivative, right? Right, except that the other parody episodes at least advanced the overall plot (like episode 2 of this season) or were really funny.

I do not think it is a bad episode. Rick and Morty doesn't really have bad episodes, in my opinion, but this episode didn't have anything remarkable about it. It could have been completely removed and it would make no difference.

  • I didn't like it that much, hate the episodes where Rick goes full dumbfuck nihilist.

  • I liked it. I think they focused on parody a little too much, rather than plot and character development.

I did really think the whole Rick gets drunk and sets up a death maze and also murders one of the most powerful beings in the universe was quite funny. The diarrhea and Noob Noob having to clean it up was amusing.
