Joker's movement just looked really stiff at the start along with his lip syncing not looking too hot compared to the previous episode. But that goes away like 35 seconds in so that's good.
I am still processing the fact Playboy Bruce Wayne was put in the friendzone by John Doe...of all people. That's rough. Dude, I thought we had something.
Keep in mind we've got about a week and a half until release... There's still a lot of time to polish things out.
Plus, that scene we just saw may not have been from a recent build. It could have been from a version of the episode 2 weeks ago! So, there's still time to make things work.
Ah but whatever.. it's only a small 2-minute portion of a 90+ minute episode

I'd hardly call Harley's voice actress unpopular. She has near 75 voice acting roles in video games and anime to her resume. Not a big name doesn't equal unpopular.
Okay, I'm really loving this interpretation of Harley. Really original, really cool.
I like how she still uses the word "Puddin'", but not for affectionate purposes -- more like a general way of addressing her "weak" lackeys. (idk how to explain it)
The role reversal on her and Joker is really cool. John wants to impress her now, rather than the other way around.
The final part of the clip where Harley does a little laugh and says "Oops." Beautiful animation there, almost seems mo-capped. That's something that I find Telltale has improved a lot of lately, the facial expressions. As a recent example, Mantis in their Guardians series has some great faces, and is extremely emotive. Some real good work was put into her facial animation, that's for sure.

I've never heard of Laura Post, but based on this clip, I really like her as Harley Quinn. It looks like the dynamic between Bruce, John and Harley will be one of the best things throughout the season.
No - what would be nice is if the rest of the season kept up the quality and length of the first episode. So I’d rather have them take their time on it instead of rush it out.
So this October realease probably means the series won’t finish by December. Maybe it will if we get to episodes in one month but I think st… moreart them take thier time. I’m not complaining it just would have nice to have the whole season by the end of the year like s1.

Not a fan of them pussying up Joker (for lack of a better word) and making Batmans most deadly, dangerous enemy a mellow sidekick to Harley, hoping it is all a act and Joker has sometime up his sleeve.
What a great clip! Loved that awkward pause when Bruce asked whether John was in love with him. I was a bit worried that they wouldn't find the right voice actress for Harley, but judging by the short clip, she did a good job. Now I'm pretty excited for the trailer! (and the episode itself ofc)

He's also probably still the reason Quinzel become Harley Quinn
I don't think so. She seems to be her own person. In the clip, John mentions that Bruce should help him "look good in front of her" implying that John is new to her clan, and that they haven't had any prior interaction, at least not much since he hasn't had much of an impression on her yet.
I think it's because John isn't The Joker yet.
I think we'll be seeing his true development into the Clown Prince of Crime over the cours… moree of the season.
He did seem more confident in season 1, but being out of Arkham seems to have shaken him up a little.
He's also probably still the reason Quinzel become Harley Quinn, so I don't think he's just her sidekick here.
Its possible harley will still become the sidekick when he goes full on joker since it seems like they're starting joker off small and will have him become a force to be feared.

Love her already! The animation looked a little rough at the beginning of the clip which had me worried but it got better really quick thankfully.
Maybe it's just me but I thought the animation was super smooth all around.

Man I love that quick transition of her oops going into a wicked grin.

You know what they say; some people are so poor, all they have is money.
It feels like they've reversed their dynamic. Harley is the Joker in the relationship, while John is the Harley.
Laura Post? Nice. Did not see that coming.
I hope we get a lot of good Harley moments/reactions in this episode.
That animation's so fucking good it looks almost like mocap.

Those gloves she has on weird me out. What kinda gloves are they?
I think he just meant unpopular in the sense that it ain't Melissa Hutchinson or someone like Laura bailey who is used a lot.

They very likely used mocap for some animations but animators tweak them afterwards.
So Harley seems to be the dominant in relationship while Joker genuinely feels strong affection to her. That's... so adorable, actually.
They clearly are meant for each other.

Hopefully a 90+ minutes episode... preferably a 120+ minutes episode.
Im getting reminded of the Bruce/Selina/Harvey love triangle already... gulp
Lol yeah unfortunately for everyone else but I'm not going to do that, sorry
Women's Motorcycle Cropped gloves
Ah that makes sense. So this version of Harley is probably a biker chick considering the gloves, the jacket, and well the name.
Cool... High-Tech Telltale! (if this is true)
Im pretty sure they cut some stuff out to avoid some spoilers which could explain how some of the clip feels kinda rough at parts.
Agreed, and both their voices were very soft, great voice acting right there
One can hope.

Oohhh Nice!!! I hope somebody asks them about possible potential romance between Iman Avesta and Bruce Wayne. PLEASE someone ask them that!!!
You could just make an account and ask yourself.
I did it already and just put the question there.
My posts don't appear on reddit for some reason. But can someone help me ask the following?
1) Length of episode
2) Will you get to choose whether to associate the villains as Bruce or Batman? Or not at all?
3) Possible Joker redemption?
