Purchased season pass, game acts as though I haven't, store won't load season pass
For example, loading up the game after the update offered me a chance to purchase the season pass. The purchase season pass option is also present for every episode slide, and the screen where you can buy either S1 or S2's passes says I don't have the S2 one.
Additional note: opening any option to buy the season pass tells me "This content can not be viewed at this time"
I've known for some time now after buying the game (I have the transaction history via PS4 to prove I have the season pass) but since the new episode releases tomorrow I figured I should post about it.

It should be fine. (I'm on PS4 as well.)
Guardians knew I had the season pass from the start. After Episode 2 released, the game suddenly forgot and told me that I was not in possession of one, but the store said otherwise. After Episode 3 released (and Sony fixed the Season Pass problem for many) the game recognised that I owned it again.
I don't know. It's just Telltale's games being weird. There's different glitches for everyone... I hope yours is only linked to the game and not the store's misinformation about your season pass. I guess we'll find out tomorrow.
EDIT: Okay... the PS Store page doesn't say I own the Season Pass or Episode 1, but there are still the buttons of "Download to your PS4", indicating it is valid and I can download it. Even on the product icon it says "Purchased", but still shows the price (as if I hadn't bought it yet). I did pre-order it, so maybe it classifies that as two separate purchases, though they unlock the same things?
I'm sure it's fine. Again, we'll see tomorrow.
Seemed strange to me since I haven't encountered such a bug on any other game and I haven't seen reports on Batman Season 2 yet. I'll definitely report back tomorrow if I can't get the episode
