Worst Voice Acting Performance in a Telltale Game?
What do you find was the worst voice acting performance out of any Telltale Game and (preferably) why?
I thought about it, and from the TT games that I've played, I think that all of the voice acting is superb, so I couldn't think of any that I thought was bad, so I was wondering what you guys think.

Hamilton Hill from Batman s1 was atrocious
Duck from Walking Dead Season 1 was pretty blah. Reminded me a lot of Shaun from Heavy Rain.
Gabriel Garcia from TWD ANF. I couldn't stand his voice at all.
The worst one? I'd say Mariana from ANF. She sound like a robot, pretty much no sign of emotions in her voice.
Stampy in Story Mode
I don't know exactly the name of him, so let's roll with Forrester Soldier #2. The guy shouting 'Fetch the Castellan, tell him his nephew surviiiived' is super shit.
Telltale doesnt really have bad voice actors, but I will say Javier's fucked up accent would probs take the cake for me
I also want to say that if you play with headphones, it can be extremely obvious at times when people were using phones/shitty recording equipment instead of being in the studio
Off the top of my head I remember some of Glenn's in TWD S1 and Jon Snow's lines in GoT sounding really bad. I think they were like right in the middle of some scenes, which made them stick out.
Didn’t much care for Erin Yvette’s voice acting for Molly.
REALLY didn’t care for Melissa’s voice acting in TWD S2.
Troy from TWD S2 was pretty terrible.
Danny from 400 days kind of sucked.
That random Penguin thug in Batman S1 Ep.2 was pretty bad.
Accents aren’t biological and are picked up so for all we know Javier might not have been born in Cuba and somewhere in the US, possibly Baltimore instead and he would have been hanging around people without the accent so there’s an explanation for his “fucked up accent”
Just a reminder, criticizing content is fine but avoid criticizing the creators.

Thats not what I really meant by "fucked up accent" I meant it as its clearly a non cuban guy trying to do an accent but it doesnt land. For one, it would appear that they lived in Florida their whole lives and didnt live somewhere like Baltimore but anyway back to what I was really saying, everyone else in his family has an accent.
Basically when you hear "Muerto" and then the Spanish speaker from Cuba who is from a Spanish speaking house, says something like: "Wow, look at all those "Moo-artos"" it just sounds off and dumb
i wanna be a maaaaaaan
S2 Clementine. Dude pls u r not a robot
Fair point
When Javier screamed out for Kate, I instantly thought JASON from Heavy Rain in my head lol
I didn’t mind Gabe as a character but his voice was just so annoying to me.
I like to think when they do takes of certain dialogue from the script, TT picks out which one sounds the most fitting. So for example, Melissa might say something in one line that sounds good, but the rest doesn't. So they keep that part and make her do the rest over and just cram them together in one.
right
Bruh Eleanor and her slip smacking lol
[removed]
sounded like she was talking through her nose.
Reggie’s voice from TWD S2 was pretty terrible. He sounded drunk most of the time.
I didn’t care for Eleanor’s voice, the same with Ludd Whitehill’s.
How about that one guy in episode 1? You know the one.
"ShoOt ThaT Oone!"
I'm almost 99.9% sure it's the same VA and that makes me 100% more happy
Nobody really stands out to me. I think for the most part, everyone cast has done their job either really or pretty well. Although pointing out what my fellow Kennyist said above, I recall sometimes (mainly in TWD S1) where the quality for a character's voice would drop pretty big. I can't remember any specifics but I know this happened to Lee's voice a couple of times.
Overall, Mariana for inflection or lack thereof, but a lot of other times the characters tripped up, probably due to voice direction.
Eleanor wanted the D, chicks dig scars ; )
Personally I thought that Telltale has always had good voice acting (even if it wasn't outstanding it'd usually be decent). There'd be some off moments but nothing too bad. However when A New Frontier came out and I heard Eleanor for the first time it felt so weird to hear bad voice acting in a Telltale game.
She just didn't sound good at all. It sounded so weird and fake I just ended up not really liking her character because of this. But by the end of the series I just ended up hating her character because of the backstab.
What if the voice actor is a creator?
I think this severely narrows down whom it is anyways. Don't quit your day job, J.
Love ya, but you don't have the range.
Sorry for the edit here. It's actually not so much as I think he's bad. It's more that he's one note. After the first appearance, it became "oh. he's doing another character again". Minor characters were fine, but when he did a major character in a game TTG would rather not talk about, it was front and center. I do love his other work though. I would never hate on the man.
S2!Clementine. She sounded like a robot the entire time.
I am not a fan of her voice in ANF either.
I did.
I had a bit of a hard time with Gared's voice, but after a while I just kinda ignored it.
GoT has fantastic voice actors, so there ain't many to complain about.
That reminds me, I actually didn't find the YouTubers voice acting in Episode 6 that great.
They were good, they did their jobs well enough, but not great. (Haven't played S2)
I especially thought that Dan didn't sound like he put any emotion into his voice.
"I feel absolutely terrible about it."
But to be honest, I found Stampy's & CaptainSparklez to be the best out of all of them.
CpatainSparkles really got into it - actually, he was really good - and although I find Stampy's voice annoying at times, he was funny and he put emotion into it.
"Me, my lord?"
I found his voice a little annoying too, but I eventually got used to it.
Y'know, I always thought she sounded depressed or something, so I never thought of it as being bad acting.
They didn't act like Minecraft characters, they acted like Youtubers.
I honestly can't think of anyone.
Glenn in season 1 of the Walking Dead, probably. He wasn't bad or anything but if I had to pick one that's who I'd pick.
Is that a good thing or a bad thing?
