I'm so glad I'm not the only one who hated that choice. I thought it's about preventing people's deaths, so of course my first instinct was to go after Bane and prevent his rampage because he's absolutely ruthless and awfully strong. But now Harley is left behind which fucked up my relationship with both Harley and John and that's really really bad. I also have to replay the whole episode just for the finale.

Telltale actually often have problems with the choice of words. The notorious [glass him] and [tell him off] though...

  • The choice was to keep that particular character from hurting anyone. It wasn't Bruce's intention to help them.

  • Is John actually angry at Bruce though? He doesn't seem to be blaming him for this, he's yelling at Bane.. cause John was my reason too to replay at first. And you can promise him that you'll get her back.

  • Yeah, but the relationship stats in the end say that he's heartbroken and it has a pretty bad influence on his opinion of you. I'd rather not risk it.

  • I'm conflicted, I had to check.. cause the stats don't specifically say he's opinion on Bruce has changed. It says how John is feeling. Doesn't it mean heartbroken as in Harley getting captured and not being there.. and it wouldn't make sense cause it wasn't Bruce's desicion to leave her behind either, Bane was the one who decided that. I understand not risking it though. Guess I'll be taking my chances.. hope this doesn't bite me in the ass later in the game, I've been fully pro John.

Yeah, right. Imagine if there was no rewind in TWD S2E5. Replaying the whole thing to get a different ending would be such a pain.

The reason from Telltale themselves: too few used the feature. Not many people used it according to them (not sure why they're keeping crowd play because literally no one uses that). Bullshit reason if you ask me.
