  • Who the hell said "poor telltale"? I'm just done with pathetic people getting hard over some wannabe drama. Do you have any proof at all that the pic was used with Ill intent or not ? Or are you just pulling this shit out your arse ? Don't accuse me of "targeting" sensitive customers when your just "targeting" telltale over something that could be a goddamn mistake.

Telltale does something wrong and you're targeting the customers for pointing out something that they did wrong? Might as well let telltale

It's hardly a mistake but just laziness and poor development. Quit defending them.

  • No I will continue to defend them bc it's right. K, lets play your dumb game for a sec and say this was done on purpose. Let's say the person who used the image knew who it was and was like 'whatever, I don't care', are you really going to condemn an entire company and people trying to do their job ? If this was done for hateful/hurtful reasons, I don't want those univolved to be dragged through the ringer. To be honest I'm confused that you keep saying that a 'picture was stolen' as if this is some artist original work ? If you wanna assume that telltale did this for political reasons and are filled with allies of the shooter your bloody mad mate. Again I'm hopeing this is handled quick, the pic is edited out and I will leave telltale sort this out themselves.

B&H gold, what are you smoking.

  • I never said they shouldn't be called out at all actually or that there shouldn't be consequences. I want this to be handled, but I want I want telltale to handle it not a bunch of people on the internet. Don't know if you know yet but telltale has recently responded, here's what was said - "An update to the game has been submitted this morning that will be removing the image across all platforms," a representative said. "We regret this incident occurred, and we are taking appropriate action internally to ensure that we continue to maintain our high standards in Production and Quality Assurance.". - For me that's enough and I hope people just drop it now.

Excuse me for potentially being an insensitive ignoramus, but this almost seems comical in how big of a fuck up this is. Heck, when I looked up images of the incident myself, I initially thought it was a weird scene from The Office or something.

However, knowing it was a real thing that happened, I can definitely see why everyone would be upset. I can also somewhat see how a random Telltale employee could make that mistake, so as long as they collectively apologize and remove it from the game, I say we can just move on.

As unlikely as that is to happen.
  • They already apologized and submitted a patch to remove it.

Wow this is disturbing. How easy would it have been if they had just used a stock photo? To be fair though, the image they used DOES look like a staged shot, but that would mean that they just took the photo without asking for permission. I wonder how many other "stock-photos" they've stolen for their games. I bet they just searched "Murdered man" on Google images or something. Nice work Telltale.

Its becoming more and more evident by each game they release that they don't give a crap. Sad.

  • Probably googled "dead lying man"

That's what I was thinking. I really hope nothing bad happens to Telltale. Really hate to see it. But if it does they have to deal with it, cause at the end of the day they're professionals and should've did some research.

It's obviously the first picture. It has the most "realistic" proportions of the human face, and the third picture also seems a bit too real. Doesn't quite look like a Telltale engine model.

  • It was aimed towards the "High standard of Quality Assurance". Because when I think of QA, I don't think of several glitches, lost/corrupted saves, choices not carrying over between episodes, poor performance on hardware that should run them as smooth as butter (talking about their games throughout the last 5 or so years at least), and well... shit like this happening in the first place.
