  • Should definitely return. I want him to have his own game, starting from where he leaves Wellington. Kenny has got what it takes to save the series.

  • Uh, no.

Unless, it's a simple recap or two and/or a congratulations type thing towards the end, Kenny needs to be kept as far away from the spotlight as possible.

  • True.Telltale would just get a boat from out of nowhere to hit him then say he's crippled.yadayada

  • No more Kenny, please.

He has more than enough time in the spotlight as it is.

It's time to let him go and move on, just as how many of us have moved on from Lee.

  • He is dead...let him go...let him go!

  • How lucky can one man be?

  • Real lucky.

How lucky can one man be?

  • i mean as long as its just a reunion when the plot is done and he ends up being in Richmond then i wouldnt complain as long as they dont try to have him be a determinant for the season since that would probably just end up with telltale eventually giving up and killing him since he s not the kind of Character to not get too involved in scenes.

  • We were able to move on from Lee because he had a good death. And for us who kept him in ANF, he did not get a good death.

  • His story should've ended in Season One like it was originally supposed to honestly, I think they butchered Kenny's character in Season Two. How about giving Lilly or Christa the spotlight? Since Lilly is now her own character and Christa was practically kicked out of the series for Season Two's plot to happen.

  • Lilly even more so considering they apparently got the news early enough that they were actually planning to bring her back in No Time Left.

  • Season 4 ending must have a scene just like the opening of twd season 7 ep1 flashback when Glenn and Abraham are ded and rick has a weird imagination about all his loved ones are beside him at a dinner table...I want something like that for clem just so we can get closure.

  • This would break my heart and make me cry hard, I hope this happens now. Part of me first thought of the dinner scene in Starved For Help at first :x but it would be really nice to see all the people Clementine has been with surrounding her in a nice way, kind of showing that she isn't alone and all the people she's formed bonds with will always be there with her, in spirit.

  • Oh come the fuck on, can we stop talking about Kenny? I get that you people like him, but he already got ressurected once (lets be honestl he should have, and was probably meant to die in season 1)

He already got his miracle in season 2, lets put this old horse to rest and do somethin else shall we?

  • He's grown up Kenny McCormick. He'll die every season and keep coming back.

  • I feel like Kenny shouldn’t come back at all in Season 4 since his story is pretty much over, even if he’s alive in your playthrough. The Wellington ending was one of the best ways to send off his character rather than killing him. Leave his fate unknown. You can assume he dies shortly after leaving Clem or is still alive somewhere.

IF he were to be brought back, have it be at the end of the Final Season if you had the Wellington ending in S2. If Clem decides to find another community with the new group she’s with, have Kenny open the gates and reunite with Clem thus ending the series.

I'd rather it was Christa or a different character instead of Kenny for a change.

Besides we've already had a scene where Clementine and Kenny reunited from back in Season 2. Making another one of this by the end of Season 4 would come across as cheap and contrived.

  • Yeah, seriously.

  • No more Kenny, please. He was a central character in 2 seasons already.

I'm not saying Kenny should be featured in any major role in S4, but I'd definitely love to see an end-credits bonus scene for players who import the Wellington ending with a 21-year-old Clementine coming across a drunk, disheveled Kenny in the ruins of the motor inn or the St. John farmhouse.

  • Always enjoy reading your comments Robert Morgan, i think having Kenny return would defintely add to the feeling of the end of the series, but give him the send off he deserves Telltale ,not a cheap death .

  • I am a huge Kenny fan, but I think we shouldn't dig up him so much. He has 3 different deaths and it means he doesnt have an important role on story anymore. Time to move forward.

  • I atleast expect flashbacks

  • Kenny should NOT return for people who got the Wellington ending, period. It would be the biggest "fuck you" to the people that actually stayed with him that I could possibly imagine.

That being said, I would absolutely love to see Kenny (and the motor inn group) via flashback.

  • As much I'd want to see Kenny again, the guy's dead. He got a shit death and it wasn't at all what the character deserved, but in the end, what's done is done.

Bringing him back, whether it be through the Wellington ending or somehow trying to explain that he survived being eaten by zombies (because that happens) would just tarnish the series more than it already is, as well as the character. There has to be a sense of realism present, a sense of grounded reality for things to have genuine impact on the players, and if Telltale brought Kenny back or anyone else that has been established as dead, that would truly be gone. Not only that, but can you really see Telltale do justice to Kenny's character again after the shameless way they wrote him out? No, it's unlikely as hell.

And in fairness, Kenny did have two entire seasons where he played massive and largely decent roles, and having him return (again) would be just fan service. They should, instead, focus on who's actually alive if they were to bring back anyone from the past, like a character who still has unused potential (Lilly).

Granted, a flashback would be nice.

  • There is no point bringing Kenny back. He will be nothing but fanservice if they do. There is nothing more to tell about him.

  • There will be hardly any fans left if the game is as bad as season 3. Weren't you one of the guys saying that the series was so bad that you didn't want any more games anyway? He needs tocome back to save the series. If the games were still good then there would be no need for him to come back. Would hardly be any fans left if things carry on the way they are, nevermind fan service.

  • Clementine, with AJ in hand, reaches the Atlantic Ocean. A solemn moment as she recalls all those she had lost up this point. She sees something.

    A flash of light.

There sits a pile of boats that had just been struck by lightning. They are engulfed in flames, but something seems to be rising from the flames.

It's Kenny, just like the majestic pheonix of legend, he rises again!

Hail Kenny, full of boats, the 'stache is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst urbans and blessed is the fruit of thy loins, Duck. Holy Kenny, Father of Duck, pray for us shitbirds now and in the hour of our bite, amen.

  • And what will Kenny solve? That we see his face again? The flashback in episode 4 was really good but didn't add anything to the story, everything would have been the same without it cause this was Javier's story, not Clem's.

  • Bringing Kenny back would NOT save the series. For me, he was the worst part about season two.

  • im not saying to bring him back as a main character just to bring him back at the end of the season reuniting with clem and aj , so basically a cameo cause they cant leave kenny just missing from the story , i understand people who do want him back but for the people who would like to seem him return should be to speak about it cause kenny (in my opinion ) was the best role model and guardian for both clem and aj , i would like him to come backk like you could have the option to return his hat to him , please bring back kenny in the finale as a cameo or if hes never gonna be seen again if left but still alive then someone from telltale should either confirm if he is still alive by the end of the series or give us a brief explanation of what has happened as a character who was this important cant be left with an ambigous end so telltale please kenny back (cameo) .

As someone who's not a fan of Kenny (at least, not post-S1), I do hope he survives in the Wellington ending. It would make me feel like that choice actually mattered, and I'm all for choices mattering. It definitely wouldn't excuse a lack of flashbacks or sweeping aside the fates of remaining characters (like Lilly and Christa), though.

Edit: ditto walking away from Kenny/Jane

  • As much as i like Kenny, no i don’t want to see him return. Only because 1, the staying in Wellington choice where he lives won’t matter if he then reappeared and died and 2, i don’t have ANY faith in Telltale anymore to write his character efficiently. Plus people that hate him will just nit pick more reasons to be negative about him which i am quite frankly sick of. So yeah i think it’s best he doesn’t come back. I’d rather Lilly and Christa don’t either because again, their characters will most likely be tarnished due to the current way of TT’s writing.

  • I think with everything that's going on with TT at the moment,im willing to give a bit of faith that they can go out on a high with WD, theyve tried a whole lot that didn't work ,now time to go back to basics! Kenny! Christa! Lilly! ,the game might revolve around Clementine, but Kenny is the backbone of it.
