Every single A New Frontier character.
kenny and every single ANF character do nothing but fuck up and ruin everything
Clint. He just showed his veggies, made some stupid faces and then died in my playthrough.
Oh come on, Kenny is easily one of the best developed characters in Season 1, I dunno how it would have been without him. Maybe it was unnecessary to bring him back in Season 2 but he is nothing compared to any ANF characters.
Agreed. Like him or not, he still isn't useless. I hate Jane, but I can admit that she isn't useless.
i disagree but each to their own.
Define useless?
Radar from MCSM Season 2. He was funny at first, but then his whole routine got repetitive and it was "save me, Jesse" every two minutes. IMO, it's like they put him in there just to be there.
That was the character I was going to say.?
Radar really gets on my nerves.
Just to give an actual answer, Tripp are the only close one that come to mind(in the Walking Dead).
Siddiq, James, "jesus", Lonnie, and Marianna also count to some degree.
ethan forrester lasted for less than 40 minutes.
What could Mariana do for the little time she was there?
Nah, I think Mira takes the cake cause she literally did nothing to save her family.
(Oh shit, someone ventured outside of their usual space!)
How about actually do something of note?
Interact more directly/meaningfully with Gabe and Kate?
Give her thoughts/feelings about how Kate's strategies?
Or maybe even give some kind of legit opinion about David?
I'll take this time out to mention characters from The Walking Dead who had potential but ridiculous deaths.
Mark
His death isn't all that ridiculous, but I think he had much potential to become one of Lee's close companions down the line. I give it to Brenda though, she made human flesh look a lot like ham.
Charles
What in the actually fuk? Last time we see Charles he's clinging onto life in a sewer a few feet away from Lee. No last words, no explanation on what occurred, nada. Still uneasy about it altogether, don't know how he could've contributed to the group, but I doubt he would've been any danger to our group.
Ava
And this baloney.
Jesus helped save Richmond, in fact he DID save Richmond so he was very useful. And what’s so wrong with Mariana?
No, Kate saved Richmond, with or without any help from Javier, Clementine, and/or the random ass knights on horseback being present.
What lands Chuck Fu into the qualifying conditions is the fact that he doesn't actually add anything to the story besides the novelty of being a comic character and one good promotional screenshot. He just shows up, sets up said screenshot, does some Matrix shit, mentions having some friends before immediately claiming he won't find them the next episode, and shows up at the end to throw in some optional background noise for an extremely watered down version of the climax we were promised and a dialogue choice that many found to be last minute pandering to LGBT.
Even Glenn, who they totally could've left out in favor of giving Doug a very fitting replacement scene, still had a reason to appear when he did, told the potential unfamiliar audience some things about himself, and had a poignant character arc. Blasphemous Kung-Fu Hobo Knight did none of that.
The realization that he's probably one of the bigger reasons Tripp was so redundant and pretty useless doesn't exactly help.
Hm, a number of things, I'm sure, but what I'm focusing on is the fact that she is borderline pointless in the grand scheme of things.
See the list I gave Fanny if you want a little more.
That's not the first time I comment outside of the Walking Dead section. But yeah, I don't do it often.
Heh, you wouldn't have cared about any of this since you hate her.
Babe, I don't hate Mariana, okay? I just really didn't care for how she was conceptualized, presented, and used.
Beside, there's roughly only a handful of characters that I feel comfortable actually putting in that category.
I know, I know~
(But what is she doing on your hate characters list then in your ANF Character Ranking thread? Hmmmm?)
Lonnie is fabulous, how DARE you? He deserves a DLC!
Pretty sure that said DISLIKE. And even then, she flunctuated between that and Bleh.
Lonnie ended up being an example of how these games sometimes do things not because they actually make sense, but because someone felt like it.
I'd have to say Sarah from TWD Season 2, Reuben from Minecraft Story Mode Season 1, Stella, Lluna, and Nurm from Season 2, and Talia and Elissa from GOT.
How can you say Reuben was a useless character? If it wasn't for him Jesse wouldn't have been able to defeat the Wither Storm. Also, Luna was the one who lead Jesse and Petra to the gauntlet, which started the whole adventure in season 2.
If you don't hate her, then why do you make disturbing jokes about her? Not to mention the things you posted in the meme thread with her. Just don't talk about her if you don't care. Also, stop making a big deal out of her liking chocolate.
It said Dislike/Hate(?). On your From The Gallows ranking.
Yeah, Lonnie should have gotten more screentime.
Disturbing?
And clearly, you haven't paid attention to some of my other stuff. Like, how many suggestive things have I said about, say, Sarah(intentional or otherwise)?
That's just a type of humor/wordplay I use sometimes.
Oh come on, it's like Kenny with Boats or maybe Carver with Berries. It's one of the most infamous/well-known things about her.
Literally, in this case.
That was most likely in reference to Badger and Tripp, with my picky designation in mind, but fair enough.
And/or more [conherent] characterization, but then again, I suppose you can say that about every character not named Gabe, Conrad, or Lingard.
