  • But you're also the enemy within the pact, and the pact's/agency's brutality is encouraging you to explore the enemy within yourself. I think it's meant to apply to a lot of things.

  • The Enemy Within refers to several things

    • Bruce is undercover and the enemy within the Pact
    • John has the Joker a few layers deep, enemy within
    • There is a mole, the enemy within the Agency
    • I even go so far as to say that Bruce still has a darkness/crazy side that can be the enemy within him that he tries to suppress
  • My main interest is the enemy within Bruce. The part of him that's more akin to his father than he'd like to believe. But I totally agree with VengefulKenny. I think it refers to a lot of things. That title really was just perfect for what they've done with this story.

  • I think the enemy within might be Alfred! I came up with this theory after replaying The Enemy Within and seem to think that Alfred was the one who killed Riddler they had similar build after all and he is within the Batcave. Also Alfred was a soldier when he was younger meaning he has some sort of training with weapons and maybe the PTSD that Alfred is experiencing from Vicki's capture could be due to the drugs. (I don't think it ever showed Vicki injecting him with it). I wonder if that would be the choice that breaks Bruce and maybe turns him into a hardened Batman in Season 3. The choice could be to put down Alfred or let him go mad in Arkham Asylum. It is just a theory for the Season Finale.
