What are the worst QTEs you have ever encountered in gaming?
What are the worst Quick Time Events that made you button-smash your controller or mouse and keyboard multiple times?
This game is one of my favourites in my childhood but the QTEs were a the things that I hated about it. I was smashing the buttons, pause, take a breath and return. I was repeating those steps every single time.

The ones in Beyond: Two Souls were pretty bad. Even if you fail all of them you don't ever die or get a game over, you can literally just watch the game play by itself.
Yeah, I played the demo of the game and oh my god, I can't stand those stupid QTEs, how is anyone supposed to tell where to hit?
You gotta predict where the character wants to go and in what direction he wants to do something but it's pretty hard because it's not obvious all the time
The ones on playstation that make use of the controller's motion detectors are pretty horrible.
I liked the ones in Until Dawn where you'd have to keep the controller completely still for a while though.
ps. There are two different modes to play Beyond Two Souls in. One with and one without on screen directions.
The Symbiote Wolveirne boss in Spider-Man: Web of Shadows. If you fail at some of them, you end up dying in the most convoluted implausible way possible.
It's more to do with watching Jodie's movements during the slow-motion sequences and matching it with your analogue stick.
If she motions to the right for a punch, you move the analogue stick to the right. If she bends her knees and is moving down, you push the analogue stick down.
I was stumped myself at first, but as soon as I figured out what the tutorial means, I found myself doing well with the QTEs.
Yeah same, but not surprised that people would hate those. And the story itself was kind of mediocre, but it had some really sweet segments though, like the Navajo and Jodie's childhood home.
The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon had some annoying QTEs, but I loved the game otherwise. I think I'm going to buy more Spyro for Christmas..
The prompts in Ethan & Madison's sex scene in Heavy Rain was a bit awkward lol.
The qtes in heavy rain was annoying because the buttons didnt seem to respond all the time and the qtes in the evil within were awful
