Catwoman

Who else thinks we should get a Catwoman game just like we got a Walking Dead Michonne game? I think Roulette should be the main antagonist in the Catwoman game.

I've been thinking about it ever since season one ended. A game without Batman involved, just focused on her adventures, her story, her struggles, it would have been a wonderful opportunity to give more space to her character. We barely know anything about her after all.

I don't think something akin to the scope of The Enemy Within is realistic but a 3 episode ala Michonne would have been perfect.

I hope we will get to learn more about her backstory somewhere down the line. With her and Bruce now in a former partnership (romantic or platonic depending on players' choices) it would be great to see her fleshed-out.

I just started playing the third episode of The Enemy Within. I think her game should end with her being in Europe and hearing about Lucius. She is shown to be nice and caring to other people and that's what I like best about her!

  • I think that a Catwoman mini-series would be awesome! Like another user said it would cover the one year depature of Catwoman between Batman Season 1 and Batman: The Enemy Within. Maybe we can even have Catwoman notice on her laptop, television, or whatever a news clip of Batman defeating the Children of Arkham. Also it might allow the player to form the kind of relationship Selina had with the Riddler since in this game it is very vague I mean unless he was like a father figure to her which I doubt because she states that she noticed he changed into a colder and meaner person hence why she says that the man she knew could still have a bit of warmth. I think that this is very likely given the fact that everyone wanted to play as Catwoman for a bit in Season 1 especially in Episode 4.

  • no a'lot of people who keep asking for a miniseries, are ignoring one single fact that a'lot of the Fanbase, cant stand Catwoman. So even though I romanced Selina, I tolerate her at best and that's just because I feel like Bruce and Selina should be together. But other than that I don't find Selina, to be that interesting of a character. Plus when it came to sells the Michonne mini series, dint do that well.

  • The reason why Michonne didn't sell well was because TellTale stated that the choices would not carry over to A New Frontier's story, so many people didn't buy for that simple fact. Also comic Michonne is not as popular as many would think since throughout much of the comic series she has been to serious and invincible with her sword. A Catwoman Mini-Series would be possible because Batman is all about mystery and a couple of times Batman is not in large chunk of the issues or storylines and a minor character like Nightwing or Robin shows us how the mystery was solved so it is possible to have a Catwoman Mini-Series and since Batman is selling really well I think they can attempt a Catwoman Mini-Series.

no a'lot of people who keep asking for a miniseries, are ignoring one single fact that a'lot of the Fanbase, cant stand Catwoman. So even

  • Yeah but this is my main point even if Telltale, did make a Catwoman miniseries a'lot of people might not buy it just for the simple fact that they dont like Catwoman. This might affect the sales and I just think that if they do a miniseries, do it on a more popular character in the Batman universe like Joker.Or after season two, do a miniseries on Robin to setup for a season 3 I feel like if telltale did do a miniseries I just don't think they should waste it on Catwoman.

Can't say I'm interested in Catwoman game at all. I don't mind the character, I enjoy our interactions, but unlike Batman, who I'm interested to develop and roleplay in TT style, Selina provides zero interest for me in that regard. Besides, I feel like her character is too set in stone by seasons 1 and 2, I don't see how we can just get a Catwoman game and decide for her to be Evil Selina, or Good Selina, or Silent Selina, lol. Sounds weird. And double weird, if you romanced her. =/
I also like the mystery around her, I don't want to ruin it by literally going inside her head.
Besides, I'd prefer another Batman game rather than Catwoman spin off.

  • It might be an unpopular opinion, but I don't think a Catwoman game would sell as well as another Batman game. It might be worth a DLC to Batman Season 2 -- which is not something I would typically promote. If you do play as Selena, silence should not be an option. It's not in her character like it is Batman's.

It might be a worthy entry if it could affect Selena's story, and by that I mean if they allowed you to perhaps develop what relationship she had with Riddler as her character -- whether he was a mentor, a lover, or a really close friend. If they don't intend on expanding anymore on Riddler's backstory in this season, I think that would be an excellent tie-in that would bring an audience as a lot of people feel as if Riddler parted a bit too soon with only one episode.

  • I don't think it has the same appeal yes, but smaller scope equals less expensive to produce which in return means you don't have to sell the same amount of copies.

I'm sure a Catwoman mini series could be profitable.

  • Yes please, Catwoman is my favorite character by far in this series, and Telltales rendition of her is amazing IMO, it would be interesting to be a more morally grey character

  • Agree 100% with you, lets make it happen!

  • There’s always a market for Catwoman, she had her own solo for years and years, has a zillion prominent iterations, there’s a number of features on the horizon, and there’s a ton of Catwoman merchandise, she seems to be doing well. That proposal issue of Batman sold out a few times over, people love the dynamic so I’d say yes.

  • Eh Harley Quinn has more exposure now then catwoman. Got comics tv shows and standalone movies. But respect to those who want selina to hav her own. Harley has a better chance

  • I'd prefer a standalone Harley or John game.

  • I could see a Harley game if she was a good guy like she is in the comics, but not as a villain.

  • Harley having her own mini-series could work but I think that a John/Joker mini-series would sell a good amount to allow the Joker you helped shape be as bad, manipulative, or deceptive as you want him to be. Imagine being the Joker and making choices that would shape season 3 in a big way like if Deadshot shows up and decides to slap Harley you can either make Joker not care about it, tell him that she is yours, or promise to make him regret it. Later Joker gets the drop on Deadshot and you can either kill him off, paralyze him, or let him go which would impact his appearance in Season 3 and rather he is angry with Joker or not. This would be the first and perfect chance to allow TellTale players to be a villain rather than a good guy or anti-hero. Let me know what you guys think!

  • I feel like the Joker is overrated. He's in too many cartoons & video games. He was even in Injustice 2 when he was already dead. DC can't go one year without putting him in the media section.

  • I would personally love a Catwoman miniseries. She's such an interesting characterwho works well as both a hero and villain so I think she's ideal for the Telltale style of games. I also really like the idea of Roulette being the main antagonist :)

  • Nope, she is boring. I want a Superman game instead (or Green Lantern etc.)
