TWD SEASON 4 NEWS Lilly and Christa

Hello everyone, I have a clue about which one character will return in Season 4, actually might be two characters, Lilly and Christa, and the question is, why? Recently, Lilly's voice actor, @itsuhrapp, started following two lead designe (S4 EP 2) on twitter, one of them is @emilybuckshot, and the other is @maryknews, and Emily followed Nicki Rapp back, and the same thing with Christa's voice actor, @maraJunot, recently followed the two lead designe (S4 EP 2) on twitter. Coincidences? NO, they might be together in the same season, even Job said that some CHARACTERS from SEASON 1 MIGHT BE RETURN in SEASON 4, THEN it would be Lilly and Christa. Im sorry for my english.

It doesn’t save the company’s reputation though. I am against returning characters now only because i have no faith in the “new” Telltale writing team. They will just tarnish the legacy of Lilly and Christa as far as i am concerned and i’d rather remember them for the way they were instead of forced onto us for fan service. Plus it is just far too unrealistic to bump into them after several years passing by without any form of communication etc. Can you imagine the chances of 2 people Clem once knew both showing up at the same place and finding Clem? I can’t buy that. It was a stretch bumping into Kenny again to be honest.

I just wish Telltale had ended TWD after Season 2. That was the perfect way to give players the choices they want and leave Clem’s fate a mystery.

  • It seems that telltale is focused on clarifying the whereabouts of some characters and leaving reality aside, as this is a fictional work, as happened with Kenny and David can happen to Lilly and Christa

Oh please just stop with that argument The Walking Dead hasn't been realistic for a long time already.

  • Or ever, I still remember unlimited ammo, loud walkers coming out of nowhere and the almighty magic pockets.

  • I want say that bumping into past survivors again might be more possible than you might think. Barely any working vehicles for transportation over long distances. Individuals seeking safety in numbers with other settlements like Wellington, Richmond and Howes. Or even scavenging for food supplies in the same towns within the same areas.

It's even possible to bump into old friends from years ago in today's world with methods of reliable transportation and more people moving about. So even in a world with mostly undead ghouls I would think once or twice over the course of a decade if still alive and not imprisoned somehow is possible to bump into someone you knew just as it is to bump into friendly strangers and enemy strangers. Might not be likely but a few folks here and there over a few years could be within reason.

  • I'm thinking we'll have a (small) timeskip at which point Clem will have already gotten back with AJ/Christa/Lilly/whoever and that she'll come across someone else she knew during the actual game events.

Additionally, Nicki also follows @anameformyself (narrative designer who joined the company way past Nicki's time) and Caroline (Community Manager, same situation).

I would like to believe this means Lilly is coming back, but it may just be Nicki (who is publicly a supporter of the whole #girlsbehindgames movement on Twitter) simply following female workers at Telltale, so maybe we should not jump into conclusions (though it definitely is curious that they all seem to be involved in the TWDS4 project).

And yeah, Lilly coming back can be a good thing or it may just be Telltale ruining yet another S1 character.

  • Lilly's come back is the best thing that could happen with season 4. If they waste the opportunity will be a huge let down.

  • We all but knew that Lily was coming back after the AMA where they hinted she would. I would like to see Lily again, however I am not sure how well Telltale would handle them after the abysmal treatment of recurring characters in S3.

  • So long as it is limited to only two returning characters and if it is written well, I am all for it.

  • I am against returning characters now only because i have no faith in the “new” Telltale writing team.

Just so you know, there has always been new writers in every episode of every season including season 1. Many of the ANF writers won't be working on the Final Season. It also sounds like one of the season 1 writers is coming back as some form of an advisory writer. I'm guessing his main purpose would be to help develop any possible returning characters from season 1 so I'm not too worried of them ruining those characters should they come back, though it is a possibility. Telltale's new writing isn't all bad it looks like it was mainly the ANF team that has been messing up. Telltale's Batman series is really good. There are many who say that season 2 of Batman is right up there with TWD season 1 (Batman Season 2 is by far their best game as far as making choices matter). I was glad when I heard that some of the writers of Batman will be working on the final season. Telltale has a big mess to pick up but there is still some hope that they will redeem their TWD franchise after ANF in this last season.

Besides, that has the opportunity to work out for the better.

  • Am i the only one getting his hopes up for Molly ?
k, lets just say she's dead

  • Calm down dude, just my opinion.

For a long time it hasn’t but why not for once make it realistic by this not happening?

Like i said, i’d rather Lilly and Christa didn’t return because i dont have faith in the writers anymore. They would probably just ruin them like they did Kenny’s character by the end of Season 2

  • Lilly is better off. I didn't liked her, nutty as all hell and her father is racist asshole, so i kinda didn't care about her. Christa is coming back, cause Telltale wants to ruin and her, but the fuck ? am i the only one that waits for Molly...

  • Im not saying it would “never” happen but its just highly unlikely in my view and i dont think it should. I dont need Telltale to bring them back for fan service.

Put it this way, i’d rather the story involve Clem having a reason to go back to Macon and then finding Lilly still there for example? That wouldnt be realistic either but in my opinion more likely than Lilly travelling to the exact same place Clem goes in S4. Same with Christa.

You all dont have to like what i say but that is how i feel about returning characters. It’s not necessary to bring them back just to please fans they pissed off

Trust me i want the company to redeem themselves but until i see it with my own eyes i’ll never be satisfied again!

The writers for Season 1 were just better then despite a different one per episode. The fact they only worked on that one game and nothing else proves that working on multiple games at once affected the quality as it showed with Season 2 and 3 and most of their other games since 2012

  • I hope so, Gary Whitta's back (Writer from ep4 from s1)so the game will be ways better + if they don't ruin anymore characters (for example Kenny)that would've deserved the money, I hope that ANF was the END for the Garcia Family,gawd...I can't stand everyone of them (even including Javi), i hope that's the end for them FOREVER.

  • She's like Kenny in Season 1. If you help Luke she'll care more about you than Mike & Arvo, but if you choose to cover Luke, she'll be bitching the whole time ... Remember when you helped Lilly how Kenny hated you the whole game ?

  • They should have had noticeable personalities change a hell of a lot more but instead they waited till the LAST episode to make our choices actually feel like they had an impact. At least when it was with Kenny in S1, his personality change showed through each episode. That was one thing that upset me with S2, they had many characters who could have been nice or mean to Clem based on choice but they did fuck all until it was too late. Why didn’t they do something with Rebecca? She hated you in Ep1 but then nice the rest of the game?. Why not have her continue treating Clem like shit based on dialogue choices? Like for example if you were nice to Alvin then she’d be nice and her personality would change. Same with Carlos and Sarah. So much Telltale could have done to make it better

I can't really agree with you. I'd LIKE to think that, but you know what? I wanted Kenny to return at first and look at how that bit of fanservice worked out.
