Actually there are some new members of the TellTale teams working on The Walking Dead The Final Season, some of which have worked on Batman and handled determinant and returning characters very well! I am going to give this game a chance because I have faith in this new team!
It doesn’t save the company’s reputation though. I am against returning characters now only because i have no faith in the “new” Telltale wr… moreiting team. They will just tarnish the legacy of Lilly and Christa as far as i am concerned and i’d rather remember them for the way they were instead of forced onto us for fan service. Plus it is just far too unrealistic to bump into them after several years passing by without any form of communication etc. Can you imagine the chances of 2 people Clem once knew both showing up at the same place and finding Clem? I can’t buy that. It was a stretch bumping into Kenny again to be honest.
I just wish Telltale had ended TWD after Season 2. That was the perfect way to give players the choices they want and leave Clem’s fate a mystery.
Hey as long as their possible reappearances gives them compelling character arcs I'm for it. I hope they only pick one survivor from Clem's past to bring back though, any more is just pushing it.
And I'm not going to lie at this point Nate is the only character who's reappearance would truly surprise me lmao It's unlikely but still fingers crossed.

Not sure how I'll feel about either returning in all honesty. People thought Kenny's return was unrealistic...
Its just if Christa or Lily appeared again, it would feel like just obvious fan service, and then we'd have to see if them reappearing in the story even makes sense plot wise ect ect. Either it could work out "ok" or it will fall really flat.
I think the 1st season worked as a whole, despite different writers in each episode, due to the pre-established plot. Something that never happened in ANF, with its stupid rewrites.
Trust me i want the company to redeem themselves but until i see it with my own eyes i’ll never be satisfied again!
The writers for Seaso… moren 1 were just better then despite a different one per episode. The fact they only worked on that one game and nothing else proves that working on multiple games at once affected the quality as it showed with Season 2 and 3 and most of their other games since 2012

As much as I'd love to see what became of Christa and Lily, i don't think that'll happen. At best I think the series will end with Clem having thoughts over the people she's met throughout the series.
I like Christa's unknown fate, how you can ask about her to several survivors throughout the game but nobody has seen her. It's sad and realistic because sometimes you get separated and there's simply no way to get closure. And it would be super predictable if Christa came back. She would guilt trip Clem about Omid and eventually agree to help protect AJ as a redemption for losing her own child.

Because it was fulfilled before she even disappeared. Her disappearance was simply a loose end for Clementine. Christa had already lost her own family and future as a consequence of joining another group and looking after their child.
My Clementine is still searching for Christa and on the look out to catch up with Lilly and Kenny, I'll bring AJ along if i have to ...but these are my goals since the start of S2

I would like to see a flashback of Kenny and the s1 group. I've said several times that straight up bringing him back is a bad idea. Now back off and stop being a dismissive child just because you hate Kenny and I like him.
