Nah see, I think it's the other way around; it might start like this, but I actually believe Louis will be an antagonist, and Marlon will be like a teenage Kenny. Louis is stated to be focused on preserving the old world, and maybe he sees Clem and the others as a threat to that.
Let me guess: Marlon will be the one who gives us trouble, Louis will butt heads with him and we'll have to choose between the two. Violet w… moreill be our nice friend and Ten is going to die. I'd love for them to subvert expectations with Marlon and have him be the one who has our back because he clearly looks like the troublemaker of the group.
So they just said we're starting the season off with AJ. No actual time developed to finding him, no big reunion between him and Clem, just goes right into a time jump and AJ is there. Remind me, what was the point of ANF again?
Kids being kids. I like this! This bitter bleak setting but with these kids just chilling and having a good time but in their own apocalyptic way. I know people are pissed about this aspect but we don't get enough of stuff like this.
I'm not so happy about that.
I'm one of the few here who cares about AJ, and that was my main goal concerning Clem in ANF. The fact that it wasn't resolved by the end was pretty heartbreaking for me. This just makes it worse. Why cut out the important bits of their developing relationship? I want to like AJ, but looking back right now, we don't know much about him surviving with Clem, and we're still going to have a lot of it missing when Season 4 opens... Argh.

Exactly. The whole point of Clem being in ANF was centered around AJ and finding him. Not only was that completely unresolved by the end of it, but they're completely jumping over it with this new season. If you're going to set something up, fucking finish it. Don't just go from point A to point C without stopping at point B. As if people didn't think this already, this pretty much solidifies that you can completely skip over ANF and go right into this game after Season 2.

Edit: Personally, I think the shark jumped over her. Telltale, the choices, and the various situations became too ambitious and it all came back as a slap in the face when it came to ANF. They built the tower higher while the base was still under construction. (by that I mean not "unfinished", but not fulfilled)
The pax panel person told the twitch people to fuck off in a video someone was recording. That was rude and disrespectful it's not their fault they can't be there to see the exclusive video.
So if we just start off this season with Clem and AJ reunited, we can just ignore ANF and jump right into it? And you tell me that Season 2 canon ending is the alone one?

Ok, why should I care about him just because he is a baby? I dont feel any type of bond with him, he's just there and used as a plot device. Obviously he cant talk but considering I dont even feel like I helped raise him because its all off screen, I dont feel anything for him.

You telling me you dont ignore amber alerts? Not many people get an amber alert and go "Im gonna go out and save that kid!" You see something like that in the news youll go "damn thats awful" but its not like Im gonna go out and dedicate my life to finding that kid, because to put it simply it isnt my problem.
And thats what Im trying to say here. Obviously Clem is attached to Aj, but Im not. So this just creates an issue where the character and player arnt really synced together. Clem cares for Aj, I dont, so Clem and I are now disconnected.
Wait... If Clem already found AJ, and there's a timejump, and she's not in Richmond. I wonder if Richmond fell and The Garcías and the other characters are dead?!

To be fair. Wouldn't you be more interested interacting and responding to a 4/5 year old for a season instead of slowly getting to a point, and wasting an episode just so there can be an "OH AJ!". moment? I rather they start off the bat so that we can see this more developed and talkative AJ grow. He's practically a new character now with his own personality instead of baby who cries and says "Clem" sometimes.

That explains it.

Also remind me why I should care about Aj at all, theres almost no development for the player to care about him because its all off screen.

So is it safe to say Gabentine is dead now?
Gabentine dies, for Marlontine, Loutine, and Violetine to surpass it.
Wow. They really know how to approach sequels.
I’ll take that over Gabentine any day.
Gabe could die last season extremely unlikely he will appear.
It will all be handled in flashbacks
He won’t appear at all even if he lived in someone’s ending.

...
I hate to say that you're unfortunately right. (it's not you, it's the story)
...This is truly the darkest timeline.
Looks like ANF is now the Dragon Ball GT of this franchise: some accept it but many denounce it.
No, that happened a ways back.
Edit: Personally, I think the shark jumped over her. Telltale, the choices, and the various situations became too ambitious and it all came back as a slap in the face when it came to ANF. Are you sure about that?
It still think Super 17 was pretty good
...
Skybound stream was way better than the actual PAX panel pffft.
Well at least this one was a bit more informative than what the real panel did. More courteous too in getting down to the questions.
That's it.
Wow,i don't know what to think..I mean
It's Telltale so i'm not surprised lmao
What did they show?
Because he’s a baby?
No I want this baby to have a 10 minute conversation with me! This is unacceptable. Why won't this child say more than "Clem" at me. SMH /s
Fucken A
The pax panel person told the twitch people to fuck off in a video someone was recording. That was rude and disrespectful it's not their fault they can't be there to see the exclusive video.
Telltale is listening and it's gonna be a great season. There will be no ANF type fuckery.
So if we just start off this season with Clem and AJ reunited, we can just ignore ANF and jump right into it? And you tell me that Season 2 canon ending is the alone one?
ANF not canon CONFIRMED ?!?!

I hope we have more interactions with him this season than just "Cleeeeeeem"
So if this was a real life situation and a 2 year old shows up on the news kidnapped you wouldn’t care because you have no bond with them?
You telling me you dont ignore amber alerts? Not many people get an amber alert and go "Im gonna go out and save that kid!" Maybe. I can see them doing a flashback of Richmond falling and having Clem and the Garcia’s split up so she has to find them throughout the season...
I dislike this idea already.
Yeah basically what MrShyGuy45 said i don't want to find to find the Garcia.
I hope the story focus on Clem (even if there's apparently other kids).
