but I might as well wait until it actually finishes. (hopefully soon, its been going on too damn long)
Kirkman said he planned to do… more at least 300 issues and more if he's still having "fun" so yeah..
And the Tv Show is probably gonna end after season 10 or 11.
I think the comics are worth reading,it's still really good,
not sure if the show is worth watching, they're doing a great job with Fear The Walking Dead right now so there's a chance season 9 could actually be good.
I just hope there's no retarded kids doing stupid decisions because if they fucking survived 5 years in hell they can't be that stupid...right...RIGHT!?
Honestly, I wish some 400 days characters made more of an appearance. Bonnie was the worst possible person to join Kenny's/Carlo's group. Sh… moree got Alvin,Reggie(even though I dont give a fuck about reggie lol),Carlos, and Walter killed. To make matters worse, she tried to "make things right" yet left Kenny, Jane, clem, and baby aj for dead in the freezing cold. I think Shel and Becca would've been better additions to the group.
Yeah, that's definitely a factor in why I was always avoidant of the show.
Also, I came across this again a few days ago
...Is the comic actually any good?
The comic. The show has faced problems of lethargy and a recent attempt to rekindle the interest of the audience was the introduction of Negan last season.
I stopped reading just as Negan came in. I was satisfied to leave it at that. Now I'm thinking I might read over the whole series, but I might as well wait until it actually finishes. (hopefully soon, its been going on too damn long)
When did that happen?
Yeah, the more I think about the shock value of the comic, the lower my opinion of it gets.
There's definitely some attempt at pathos, but compared to the telltale series, not a heck of a lot.
It's almost like it's a comicbook about fighting zombies.
Meanwhile, the TV show tries to expand on the comic but fails just as often as it succeeds, often creating plot holes, making characters dumber and just dragging things out too long or rushing through them.
Yeah, I heard/read vague stuff to that effect. Like apparently, that girl Lizzie or some other character had a different role and screentime in the comic compared to the show.

Issue 100. Triple digits.
Ah yes. The milestone where the beserk from radiotion poisoning Lion ends up falling into a ravine and the… more spider ninja up and dies because....
No, bruh, it's about society and morals and survival and shit
Yeah, sure. What's the most recent lesson learned?
Sophia, the only other child character besides Carl to be their from the beginning. They were teased as having crushes on each other initially, but she slowly faded into the background for the next 100 issues, and then some new harlot had weird teenage eye-socket licking sex with Carl, essentially replacing her.
In the TV show, they just killed off Sophia in season 2 for whatever reason. Off-screen.
Okay, that does kinda sound like bullshit. And not even focusing on the new characters gets the guy thing-- they could've easily just wrote her character to stand out from the two and/or not be redundant.
How old is this Sophia? Who is she related to and/or associated with?

Yeah he totally forgot about her

According to the timeline, he has to be 11 now, he was 7 when the outbreak happened. I am not even sure anymore, tbh! His age is kind of a mystery.
Yup, she doesn't look like Jane in the comics, though.
Wonderful. Main character that's also a kid and they didn't nail down how he is.
Well, he HAS TO be 11 right now. We know that he is 7 when it all starts. I think Kirkman said that the timeskip MIGHT be longer and that Carl must be around 13, so that's why there's confusion.
Ah, so another Hershel situation?
Yeah, in the show they made Hershel more likeable compared to the the comics/video game. I think the show is meant to serve as an AU of some sort. I don't watch it, but I've seen scenes on Youtube. I kept up with Seasons 7 and 8, though.

It seems kirkman made a mistake or retconned the ages, but she's about the same age as carl now in the 12-14 range.
Her dad was already killed by zombies at the beginning, and the mother (who was around until the prison arc) eventually committed suicide-by-zombie. I think she was sorta-adopted by Maggie and Glenn...
But I can't remember anything about her without looking at the wiki, honestly. That's how unimportant she was.

Woah.
Okay, that sounds like important information for him/the show to just forget about her.

I wouldn't be surprised if she was never even called for in the script again, and so her appearances would just be the artist himself adding her into the background when he remembers she exists.

While Nick Breckon supposedly created Bonnie, it's also more likely because she's the only character who went with Tavia regardless. Add in her lack of attachments to another living character or lingering plot point and she's ripe.

so she was WRITTEN to be the only character that ALWAYS goes, for a reason.
Yes. Probably because her scenario goes more or less the same way regardless of what you say/do, whereas other characters have choices to make regarding other characters.

uh you realize she's not a real person, right?

I would still say they make no sense at all, so I don't agree with that assessment.
Unless Carver's camp has hundreds of people, it should be pretty obvious if there's an elderly black woman (like russel's grandma) or some douche with a goatee and piercings (like eddie)
bad writing, or was carver's camp meant to be much bigger originally? YOU DECIDE.

Maybe they did, maybe they didn't. Tavia made no promises, as I recall.
Relevance?

Comments
I suppose "quality over quantity" is an unfamiliar phrase to Kirkman.
Do not forget that even though they are survivors, they barely go from ... teenagers?!?!?!
wise words. Since 400 Days, Bonnie was unreliable.
Daria??
Comparing to the show, it's less novelistic and more visceral in its aftermath.
The show or the comic?
On a brighter note, the colorlesness of that panel actually helps keep it from being nauseating.

That you can live to be in over 150 issues and still have no characterization or page-time at all.
Huh. And that would be?

TORIYAMA!
When the apocalypse begins Sophia is 8. Currently she has to be 12.
She is Carol's daughter.
8 to Carl's 10, iivrc?
Is Carol the one that looks like Jane?

Probably just means he'll give her some time to interact with carl before killing her off for a cheap death

True enough. But it's weird, they must have had some reason to favor Bonnie over the other 400 days characters?
Who knows.
pls give 400 days sequel DLC

I will
Telltale's The Walking Dead: Stories Of Survival DLC (SOS) available february 22nd 2019
Hah that sounds so realistic
Hey, why not? That's a good name, I could buy it.
They should also include a story with Christa and Clementine during the 16 MONTHS WE MISSED
yup i agree
