Do you like 3 days rest a week?
Does 3 days rest every week make the labor force in a country more productive?
I heard in Netherlands they have 3 days rest and 4 days work.
in our country it's 6 days a week work, 8 hours a day. and by the time you reach your day-off, it's time to do your laundry and clean your house. which is kind of tiring

You were misinformed about the Netherlands. It's work/school from monday to friday over here. Free on saturday and sunday. For most people anyway.
As to me personally, giving an honest answer would unmask me as being the lazy bum I am. So I'm gonna plead the fifth.
4 days of work and 3 days of rest would mean you would have to work 12 hours a day as opposed to the usual 8 in order to make up for lost time. If sacrificing 12 hours of my day for 4 days means I get 2 extra days of free time, I think i'd support it. But working from 6A.M. to 5P.M. sounds crazy. Also, you'd have to put the amount of time it takes to get ready in the morning and the time it takes to get back home into account, so you'd be losing around 14 to 15 hours a day for 4 days, however that could vary depending on how far you live from work.
Do you speak any other languages? Is that where you’re from originally?
Us swedes do 5 days work 2 days rest in general. 8 hours of work which will result in 40 hours work a week. I'm pretty happy with that to be perfectly honest.
i read it some where like this:
http://money.cnn.com/gallery/news/economy/2013/07/10/worlds-shortest-work-weeks/index.html
i do think the idea of 4 days a week work is better, to balance health. like for 5 days we get stressed out right? and it affects our performance. 5 days is like too tiring especially it's 8 hours a day and you only get 1 hour lunch break.
Dutch, English and a bit of German, that's all. Not just originally, I still am from there.
I'm sure there are lots of people that work fewer days a week, but the norm is still 5 days.
I think most people that work less than 5 days a week do so because their partners also work, so they can afford to.
I used to work for 6 days and have 4 days off, which I quite liked. Don't think I would have done anything else but sleep on the weekend if I only had 2 days off. :P
Depends how much I'm being paid. If I really need the extra day, I'd prefer 2 days, but if I'm doing fine without the extra money I'd love 3 days rest a week.
Scenario #1: 6 Days Work/2 Days Rest
Let's say you get paid $20 per hour. You work 8 hours a day for 6 days(Mon-Sat). In one day, you would've made $160. Upon receiving your paycheck every 2 weeks, you'd make $1,920.
Scenario #2: 4 Days Work/3 Days Rest
Now with there only being 4 work days(Mon-Thu), you'd still make $20 per hour, but instead work 12 hours a day for only 4 days. In one day, you would've made $240. Upon receiving your paycheck every 2 weeks, You'd make $1,920.
Why Your Pay Is The Same In Both Scenarios
Now although the amount of money you made in a day in the 2nd scenario would appear to have increased by 50%, you'd still be making the same amount of money every 2 weeks because the number of hours you spent working were the same in both Scenarios. In the 1st scenario, working 8 hours a day for 12 days means you worked 96 hours in total. In the 2nd scenario, working 12 hours a day for 8 days also means you worked 96 hours in total. In both cases, nothing's changed except you've worked two days less than usual, and worked 4 hours more each day to make up for it.
Regardless of how much you're being paid, it's really a personal question of whether you'd sacrifice more time during the days you work for 2 extra relaxation days in return.
