What if Clem was able to drive away with Jane?
Do you think Kenny would have tried finding Clem and AJ or just go his own way?

He would've tried going back to Howes cause that's where Jane made it clear she wanted to go
Of course Kenny would go after them. He's all about sticking with family, He would never leave them behind. Truthfully, he probably would've died out there in the cold trying to get back to them, but he wouldn't give up until the end.
Well if Clem was driving... Jane never would have got a chance to hang herself.
She probably would've ended up crashing it like she did in ANF, and Jane and AJ would've went flying through the windshield.
Nice joke
He sure left them in Wellington and never came back even though he could visit and Edith told him there might be place in a few months, but three years later, nothing.
There could've been many reasons why he didn't return, but I mostly blame Telltale for his shitty excuse for an exit. He definitely could've thought of better options as to be able to stay with Clem. He could've just camped outside the wall and ask to work from them in trade for food and supplies.
Telltale: Nope, he's gotta LEAVE. That's how it works in the real world
Which is why Jane was pressuring Clementine to do the leavin.
But Caba, it was, like, super emotional and stuff.
She never says that they can come back if Clem goes inside
Emotional but Irrational
Edith says the only reason they can accept all of them is because they are overcapacity and things might change in a few months. She doesn't tell Kenny he can't come back after Clem goes inside, he just walks away.
How do you know he didn't come back? We don't see every single day in Wellington. Like the Kenny ending shows in ANF Clem and Kenny have been waiting to be let in but they've had no luck so they head to Florida. Kenny probably was denied access if he tried to return
Does it? Cause I was under the impression they were just straight up camping and traveling to Florida once they found a ride to use.
Kenny says "there's no use waiting for Wellington to take us in someday"
Meaning they must've been nearby and going back every month or so to try get in
Because otherwise Clem would KNOW Kenny is alive? And would have tried to find him or at least mention him? She mentions Edith but not Kenny who actually brought her to Wellington and as you say he could have "visited" her. (Which he didn't, otherwhise Clem would be with him)
We don't know if Kenny would be denied access, he's just one single and capable man who was 2 little kids waiting for him inside, and in 2 years they surely made Wellington bigger.
Also, "there's no use waiting for Wellington to take us in someday" doesn't even imply they even tried coming back after the first time, it could be just some "Oh, they rejected us the first time but told us to come back later, but nah, maybe if we come back later they'll reject us again so let's go somewhere else"
Even if he didn't visit it's not hard to believe that with all the emotions going on that he forgot the part where she said things might change. He might not have listened properly, it's kenny after all... Who says Clem didnt try to find him? We don't know what her plan was after Wellington or how long is in-between Wellington falling and her meeting Ava
But if Clem drove away with Jane should it be assumed that she didn't want to be with him?
You now what? This is probably the reason why Telltale didn't give us the option to leave him before the end. It's just too unpredictable how he would act with how unstable he is. He could just let himself die like he did before he met Sarita, he could just give up on his morals and head to wellington on his own, or stick to his guns and run a suicide mission to stick with the last bit of family he has left though they hate him, just like some scumbag father would do to try and redeem themselves.
