‘Michonne’ game

Why did Telltale say that ‘Michonne’ choices have an impact on ‘A New Frontier’ and the final season when they have nothing to do with one another? A few individuals are saying that the Fairbanks may be at the boarding school for the last season, but I do not understand why because I found them minor characters just like the ‘400 Days’ group. I also found ‘Michonne’ slightly disappointing because she is actually one of my favourite characters.

    I definitely heard it from an interview where somebody asked if its choices crossed over. I apologise for not remembering where though.

    I think they only said that Michonne was a spinoff title that wouldn't have an impact or tie in to Clementine's story
