What you just said made no sense at all.
He's more at risk to being grabbed than she was, she had a hat covering most of her head.
It's really stupid, I dunno who they're tryin to appeal to, are afros really coming back in style?

Well Clem and Lee’s relationship in Season 1 was the main focus, and most of the side characters in that game didn’t feel meaningless and replaceable. We also got the narrative lead of Season 1, Gary Whitta, returning for this season as well.
@Plan_R
The comment is not directed to you for posting your thoughts--just a statement that whenever an individual states something not within the perspectives of the collective, the poster is greeted with opposition for the most part.

It's less of a mess and therefore less likely to get clung onto ala Chuck's analogy.
I'm guessing it's to make him resemble both Alvin and Rebecca again.
I dunno who they're tryin to appeal to, are afros really coming back in style?
At least he actually looks like a black person. Clementine looked asian as hell

Pretty sure the bandage around the head will come from a wound sustained during the crash in the car at the very end of the 15 minute gameplay when they go over the edge.

Yeah, that was somewhat noticeable in ANF as well, but the afro makes it more obvious here.
Giving him the paling yellow shirt was a nice touch in lieu of his baby fat, btw.

I know right, it's a nice thought but let's not get too carried away. Someone mentioned earlier something to the effect that we're usually misdirected as far as teaser trailer villains go.
Careful, Dex. They're just going to argue that he was possibly stabbed in the eye and later scheduled an appointment to see an Apocalyptic Optometrist for a glass eye replacement.
He knows that he'll just get hounded to spoil stuff, it's best to keep him silent until after all 4 episodes have released. Kinda like TWD show had Steven Yeun go dark on social media after S7.
Well, the guy in the teaser's left eye is green. Nate's eyes were originally both green, but since this game takes place nearly a decade after 400 Days, he could've lost an eye and had it replaced with a fake one. Not to mention Telltale updated the animation style, so of course, he'll look a little different, but that doesn't change the fact that his hair's the same colour, he has sideburns and more or less has the same facial features. He just isn't wearing his hat and is older.
And if it wasn't Nate and just some new random character we never meet or heard of (that happens to look like Nate for some reason), why would they reveal him at the end of the teaser, as though he were of importance? It makes most sense that they'd reveal a character's return to increase the hype, especially as Nate's a character a lot of fans have been requesting for ages.

I want you read this again with everything that's happened in this series in mind and try that again.

Stop talking.
that doesn't change the fact that his hair's the same colour,_ he has sideburns_ and more or less has the same facial features
Hair color proves nothing. A WHOLE FUCKING LOT of people have brown hair.

You have to be the dumbest person I've ever encountered here on this forum, i'm sorry. This might be a bit of a stretch, but MAYBE THEY ARE INTRODUCING A NEW CHARACTER???. Also, Is it not possible that a person could share some semblance with another, yet without actually being that same person?????
Andy St. John and Roman have a lot of the same features. Are they the same person???

BRUH! I told you it was coming. The apocalyptic optometrist was suggested by @OneWayNoWay like I eventually expected someone to claim.
He isn't going to stop talking nonsense. That broke fella was on my jock about how $20 is too much for him to afford considering to pre-order TFS in another thread.

I dont think theres anything wrong with a person wanting to see their favorite character, but to see a new character who barely shares semblance with your favorite and say “Yeah, this is definitely them, they just changed a bit over time!” is absurd.
I agree, it's like saying that's not really AJ but Alvin with Benjamin Buttons disease. OOOOOOOH some new lore! I've seen some suggest Marlon will be the Kenny of this season. As much as I look forward to seeing Marlon's development, claims like those make me cringe.
It's far more likely we'll see more notable characters from previous seasons, if any are slated to return. Trying to re-introduce someone as minor as Nate now, is more of a stretch than those that argue against Lilly's return.
Considering how Nate was, it makes me question the characteristics of his diehard fans. Why would we want a murdering Rapey-Davey vibe character to return?

I mean... Some people can just naturally grow an afro so it's not exactly out of the ordinary.
It was just their headpieces. And the most that got out before the season was that one screenshot of Clementine and Luke at the table.
It's less of a mess and therefore less likely to get clung onto ala Chuck's analogy.

Honestly I kinda doubt that guy is nate and feel everyone's getting their hopes up. I mean I honestly doubt they'd spoil his return in a teaser.
Sure they would--he's just an afterschool special villain they made for a DLC meant to hold people over for Season 2.
No fanfare is needed.
The fact that everyone ignored this dude's eye color, which clearly indicates it's NOT Nate, is beyond crazy

I spat my tea out at how formal that was. And I thought I'd gotten used to that.
How?
It's groooveh.
They're prolly hiding important characters becasue then it would be more of a shocker, you know, Carver/Jolene stuff.
Yeah that makes sense. He does look more like Rebecca than Alvin, isn't it?
In s3 yeah. I mean her model in season 4 is en pointe.
Whitta is one of my favourite writers at Telltale, but it's odd that I haven't seen him yet. After all, we've had plenty of interviews already.

Ha, ha, virtual hi-five for you!

I'm just impressed at how realistic his body is, especially the baby fat.
''Hungry''
I never got the impression she looked Asian, if anything, Sarah sorta did.

It was the obvious comparison for whatever reason.
Admittedly, there was a distinct moment when she was first approached in Amid the Ruins where I went "...Oh, that's right--she's Spanish!"

Why do people wanna see Nate so hard. Its not fucking Nate get over it. People will just make up things just to desperatrly see Nate.

I don't have a stance on this. Just some sarcasm about the cigar guy not being Nate.
So...you think it might be?
Or maybe they swapped their heads around? I can't remember.
Blasian.
