That'd basically be = Fear The Walking Dead: A Telltale series. I'd likely pass..when there is only so much you can do with folks and zombies before it is only a repeat of the same situations since most groups predicaments will summation to be the same sort of tribulations to endure. The Final Season could be my final Telltale game unless Wolf Among Us part two proves to be great again.
I always figured a game with the cast being a gang of bandits would be pretty cool. It'd create some good moral-related choices, and give a fresher and newer take on the usually goodie-good protagonists thus seen so far.
Honestly, I can't help but feel that making AJ the main character [immediately?] after this would be rather needless and non-progressive(in the non-political sense) for the series.
I would only be interested if it was like Rick and Carl but more complicated as you (the main character aka the leader) is anti-hero or is kneeling on being somewhat of a bad guy but does what it takes to protect and help his community/family.
Or maybe.......TWD where the outbreak takes place throughout the 1930's-1950's? I picture all the characters in the fashion that was common at those times, as well as them using the talking in ways that were common in the early-mid 1900's, especially those really old terms and phrases that make you say "huh??", and the whole game being displayed in monochrome with all audio having that vinyl sound effect. Also, the soundtrack should match.
Kind of like this.
This also gave me the idea that the outbreak could be due to nuclear tests.
400dayssequel
(of course bonnie would have to be dead since she can die in season 2)
also DLC for the motor inn, three month gap with lee's group. Come on telltale, cash in on some nostalgia here! You just have to re-use those models. It would be easy money.
I always thought a cool thing to show would be their alluded-to adventure at the air force base where they meet mark. and how they brought back all the commissary food. mark implies he was in trouble there and that they rescued him somehow.
In the end AJ shoots a turning Clementine and then next season meets a group of people who all die in the end but one of them gives birth to… more a baby girl and AJ is left alone with the baby. In TWD AJ S3 our protagonist isn't AJ but some random dude who used to play baseball. AJ, now a hardened survivor whos gone through hell and back and has lost so much that he doesn't trust anyone, meets the baseball player and finds out that good people still exist. Nevertheless the season doesnt focus on AJ but this random dude for some reason. S4 of AJ's journey is the final season and now he is teaching the girl to survive in the world of TWD with the lessons he learned from Clementine who learned those skills from Lee. The season ends where the turning AJ is shot by the girl.
Also, for anyone who has played Black Ops II zombies, a map that greatly resembles Farm would be a great location for this 1930's-1950's remake of TWD.
I don't agree with your first, but the motor inn dlc holy shit I'd pay a good 5 dollars for that. Going to the air force base would be really fun, a cool setting. A lot could've happened with the group inbetween ep 1 and 2, things like Andy and Danny coming. Maybe they went to restaurants and did secret missions or they hunted for animals and saw these wierd cult groups, idk.

we could have a 400 days type approach to the motor inn dlc
one chapter is ben with his high school classmates and what happens when they're raided by bandits
another could be on the st john farm with how terry got killed the first time the zombies showed up. another would be playing as mark on the air force base

what do you think, good idea?
Oh yeah comfy cabin shenanigans, too bad clementine has to leave as soon as she gets there because you know, season 2 is like on fast forward. No time for slow moments.

It was my understanding that cabin group before being cabin group were just random people in Carver's community. The only became cabin group because the all agreed to gtfo and get away from Carver and once they did leave it was only a couple days till they found the cabin. I'm not sure what kind of shenanigans they could have gotten into in that short amount of time so that leaves following them around Howe's before they decided to make a run for it. Thinking about it, that could be an interesting story. Following each one as they go about their daily chores, deciding to leave and then doing their part for the escape plan.

Although they're good ideas and would be fun to play, at this point so many years from the release of season one, it'd be irrelevant to return to these characters at these points in time.

A mini series where we learn what happens with the characters that don't return in S4. We could learn what happens to Molly, the Garcias, Christa, Lily, Mike, Arvo, Bonnie all in it's own self contained stories. They could even do the 400 days group but that might be hard considering that not all of them might have ended up at Howe's depending on your ending.
Eh, might work. But I was thinking more of all the stories you suggested to be played in th perspective of Lee, finding Mark and such. It wouldn't work for players because the player needs to be actually familiar with the character/ the character needs lots of screentime. I wouldn't really care for someone if it was in a 15 minute level. I wouldn't even have feelings for Lee's wife if it were just a 15 minute level. And if you're talking about some life is strange-esque prequel where Lee walks around the campus and can talk to fellow professors, well, that'd make a nice change, seeing as how all walking dead games are set during the apocalypse.
So one level is Molly, one is Lily, one is Christa (ahem telltale rape scenes) one is the Mike, arvo and Bonnie stuff. 4. As for the Garcias, that could be a particularly interesting episode since all their fates except Javi are determinant, so much so that I think it should be a standalone episode with a built-in story generators.

True. That's one of the interesting aspects about the them.

Well, they'd been through at least one city according to Alvin.
Plus, Howe's is apparently in Tennessee.

Looking back, I'm surprised I didn't just give Alvin his own distinct scenario.
You're right though--seeing them actually escape could make for a stirring climax and/or epilogue for the DLC.

Running zombies.
'They're all fucking walkers, okay'
Yeah I would fucking hate if the story had to fall to the level of paradoxes.
Here's my two cents; they shouldn't continue the game. Move on.
Shit, my bad. Stephanie It's been awhile.
Okay, I was about say--what good side story have I been missin?
Until Dawn, but with TWD characters?
Он вернется.
Imagine. Just....just IMAGINE

I remember pitching a DLC like that with the Cabin Group a year or two ago.
Yeah that seems fun. Imagine walking around with Ben's skinny ass lol.

Eh, more like Cabin Group before they became the Cabin Group, but sure, some of that'd be nice.
Here's the writeup I did on it by the way.

Actually, I'd prefer if there was at least one story where you get to play as Lee, for the nostalgia. And yeah, I'm dissmissive of the 'remaster'.
Although they're good ideas and would be fun to play, at this point so many years from the release of season one, it'd be irrelevant to return to these characters at these points in time.
But why...?
What if you play as lee when he kills the senator
Should include their escape from Howe's

Also, that was nearly two years ago, holy shit.
I'm not suggesting anything specific, I'm just thinking of how much untapped potential there is.
But professor Lee? I'd play it.
