Not great news for me. One of the things I was hoping they'd follow through with and instead another new character. It'll be hard to get invested into any of them as we all know they're just gonna croak like every cast before them.
A bit disappointing but I'm glad they put the rumor to rest. I would've loved to see some 400 days character get some spotlight in The Final Season to give the DLC one last drop of significance before the series ends, but I'm sure the game will be great even if it doesn't have any character ties to Season 1 outside of Clem.
LMAO, are you serious? Yeah, that's about as plausible as Jason Voorhees showing up as the real villain of the season. He's the Undead to the Undead, lol. Yeah, you're on to something! Then again:
I'm sort of indifferent towards the news. Would be cool to get Nate back but at the same time having a new character altogether is a brand new opportunity. And I'm sort of relieved that psycho Nate won't be anywhere near Clem and AJ.
@OneWayNoWay
If only you could understand how stupid you look as of this moment, now that he's been confirmed to be another character . Honestly, what do you have to say for yourself???
inb4 Telltale thought him being bald and covering half his face with his hand was just gonna make people think it could be Nate, but too many people thought it was, so now they just sayin it aint
I'd say I'm disappointed. That's about it, really.
Now, whether I look stupid for speculating that a fictional character in a fictional universe could be another fictional character, well, I can't say I'm too bothered about that. When I'm wrong, I can admit I'm wrong. You, on the other hand, seem a tad bit too obsessed with proving you're right about fictional characters...It all seems a little insecure.

Just like how Nate was gonna be executed if it was him?

Didn't they do some shit like that before?
@SargeantMario101 It's Eddie, from Wyatt's 400 Days Story.
To be fair, that could've just been a placeholder.
So they went out of their way to change the background of the ep3 slide after release. The Vince silhouette to Kenny, and the background music for ep4's slide. But not the one that's clearly Eddie?
EDIT: While I'm at it, can you explain what episode 4's slide is supposed to even mean?

From what I personally guessed, it was about Clementine either getting ready go to war(figuratively or otherwise), joining a cult(HIlarious in Hindsight), or having to do something a little extreme(is that the word?) or bad to help the group survive what they're up against.
From what the Bossman once observed, it's possible that like with Vince, Eddie was a standin for what was eventually meant to be Mike, hence the slightly obscuring grey hood. Whether that was always the case or just the prerogative after they actually started working on the season proper is up in the air. Though I've seen speculation from a few that it might've been what eventually became Arvo, which is possible as well I suppose.
As for why they didn't change it, they either didn't see the need to when they editted 3's again, didn't have the chance, or just plain forgot.

Considering Mike was in the game as early as the Ralph days (whom has concept art), I doubt that. I'm a firm believer that Arvo replaced Eddie in episode 4. There's just too much evidence that points to that being the case.

Fourth answer, laziness.
How does it look in the Remaster?
The collection uses the same shitty UI that other recent Telltale games have been using. Though the images for all the seasons are still the same.

Yeah, … morewell, if that is true, it was probably for the best. Minus Nick Breckon clearly not giving too much shit.

Sure, if you don't care about continuity or consistency.
If I was him after coming back to write the finale and seeing how the writers handled the last two episodes, I wouldn't have given a shit, either. Just write for the sake of ending this shitfest.

Then there is still a possibility that it is Clems real father. Maybe

Are you sure about that? We have 2 returning characters confirmed, perhaps a s1 character could be there.

And that's why I brought up Mr. Breckon.

He never reminded me of Nate cause he looks nothing like him.
